RF Current Transformer and Meter

In this video we will make an RF current transformer that can work up to 30MHz. Then we will make a circuit to display the RF current value on a dc meter. In up-coming videos I will show how to measure current around a magnetic loop antenna and how to detect imbalance current on an antenna feedline.

Hi Jim am I correct in my thinking. If you put this over an antenna coax cable you will only be able to measure the common mode current running on the outside of the braid. As the differential mode currents will cancel themselves out.
