Regarding po course that will suit your work before, it actually depends on your strength and the evaluation of the program chair
However, there are only limited courses offered for masters in UPOU. I think, closest course is Master of Environment and Natural Resources Management. You may check all the subjects, requirement, etc on this link:

usually 6 or 9 units per semester po yung kinukuha. max po ata ang 9 units :)
for the duration, depende po sa required ng course. yung sa akin po, 3yrs po talaga sa amin :)

1. How much will it cost me to take a master's program at UPOU? Plano ko sana mag take ng Master of Arts in Language and Literacy Education. Any idea po or is it okay to share your estimated tuition fee(s)?
2. Also yung master's po ba sa UPOU will only take 2 years or is it less or more than 2 years?
3. Required po ba na may experience ka sa field na gusto mong kunin? For example, sa Ateneo po kasi need at least ng 2 years of experience sa field ng broadcasting para makakuha ka ng master's program related to broadcomm. Is the same po here sa UPOU?
4. F2F po ba or pure online talaga sa UPOU regardless kung anong program yung kukunin?

Hello po! Di pa ako gumraduate pero nakita ko po yung mga previous na graduates, “Unibersidad ng Pilipinas” talaga nakalagay sa diploma nya. Nasa hard cover lng yung UPOU.
Kasi legit UP system din talaga ito. So same po sya sa regular na UP campuses. May f2f graduation din sya sa sarili nyang campus.

@iscarlethperez I'm in the same situation kay oc po, 1st year palang po ako, and 2 weeks palang since class started sa current univ ko and so far hindi maganda yung pamamalakad. I really wanted to try here sa UPOU since OL learning lang ang kaya ko physically, pero based sa academic calendar tapos na yung enrollment for the 1st and 2nd trimester. Wondering if I'm qualified to apply sa 3rd trimester :) May video po ba kayo on how po mag pa-evaluate mag reach out sa program chair? tyia!
@@nanan8992 you need to check po kung ano ang gusto nyong kunin na course para malaman nyo po kung ano ang subjects offered. But for me, better po to start with 1st semester para sakto po sa mga courses offered :)

Hello po, i am awoeking student po and a first year student po sa PUP QC. Balak ko po mag switch to PUP OUS kasi po im working and also a breadwinner so diko po kaya i let go ang work. Pano po kaya ako mag papa switch from traditional to OU and pwede po kaya lumipat next sem?
Hello po. Better po na maka e-mail kaayo sa UPOU mismo to inquire your current status. But yes, pwede naman po magswitch kasi parang same lang naman po sya sa regular school ang timeline kaso distant learning sya. So mas perfect sya sa situation nyo na working student.
With regards sa next semester, ang alam ko po nag end na ang due ng application for next sem. Again, better email UPOU po baka makahabol po kayo ng register kasi mejo matagal po ang process for application 😊

Regarding sa kung tumatanggap po, open naman po sila with anyone. Ang question lang po kung macredit po ang subjects nyo sa PUP to OU. Kasi baka di po match ang natapos nyo na subjects
Ma'am, good day po. I just want to ask po ano po undergraduate course niyo po? Gusto ko din kasi mag Master of ASEAN Studies, I am worried kasi ang undergraduate course ko ay Business Related.
2nd question po, paano po makakapagsubmit ng hardcopy ng TOR na my Remarks na for Further Studies or Copy for UPOU, usually po kasi nanghihingi ng request ang former Alma Mater ko sakalang magrerelease ng bagong TOR na may remarks if may request po galing sa school na eenrollan.

If business related po kayo, okay lang din naman po. May business-related electives naman po
Open to all ang ASEAN since culture, politics, socioeconomics, and etc ang cover nya. Nagmamatter lang po sa electives/minors na kukunin nyo. May mga classmates din po kmi na engineer, architect, teachers, ambassadors, etc.
Di lang po kami nagka classmate sa electives kasi kung ano po field nyo, yun ang kunin nyo na electives. Classmates lang kmi sa ibang subjects :)
For the “further studies” na remarks, ang ginawa ko po pumunta ako sa alma matter ko at nagrequest. Itatanong kasi nila kung para saan. Tapos saka ko sya sinali sa pagsend ng hardcopy nung natanggap ko na sya from my alma mater.
May iba naman po na yung school mismo magsesend sa upou 😊

hello po. for college, I think need pa po ng SHS. but try to check their other programs po like associate courses if allowed na ang JHS.
di na po pwede mag apply for 1st trimester eh. kasi super madedelay ka na po. di na din pwede kasi may specific po na dates for application.
if mag apply nman po kayo for 2nd trimester, you need to check if allowed ka po pumasok ng 2nd agad. kasi may mga subjects na need mo muna kunin ng 1st sem bago ka maka enroll ng 2nd sem.

Hello po. As I know, ibang application po yung sa regular classes. So kung magtatransfer ka po, another application nanaman po yun sa kung anong campus ka lilipat 😊

Nag-apply na po ako and "for review" na yung nakalagay sa aking online application, kaso akala ko po ay need isend na agad ang mga photocopies ng mga requirements once na accomplished na sa online kasi ang nakalagay po ay "As soon as the online application is accomplished, mail the complete and valid admission documents". Okay lang po kaya yun? Thanks po!
Hello po. Hala. They will email or instruct naman po kung need na ipadala. Since for review pa sya, possible pa na may mga kulang or need ipasa. So, much better email them na naipadala mo na kahit for review pa. kasi baka maconfused sila kung para saan yun.

parang hindi naman po required na exact course to take the MPM. As long as you follow all the requirements and take MPM Graduate Admission Test (MPM-GAT).

Yes po, sir. Same lang po. UP system din po ito, sir. Naka setup lang sya for distance learning like overseas at working na busy at di kaya ang physical universities. 😊
Mag sasablay lang din po during graduation like any other UP campuses. If you can search din po, may physical campus po ang UPOU sa Laguna. Pero all the classes are done online po. 🥰

Pwede po kayo mag certificate muna. Then may graduation. Then proceed to MAS.
Pero kung MAS po kayo tapos magshift to certifcate, di na kayo pwede bumalik sa MAS

but for me, mga 7k po for 6units. mga 11k naman po if 9units.

Kapag For Review, waiting mo lang po mag advise sila kung complete or may kulang. mejo matagal po yang ganyan na status. baka mga 2months po. Kasi marami din silang chinicheck na mga applications :) Mag email po sila kapag may kulang ka. :)
