My wife and I were there. We had watched Nimble earlier in a preliminary qualifier so we told everyone around us that they were in for a treat. Nimble did not disappoint.

I've never seen an agility dog that calm before the run. This dog is ASTONISHING
You can see the joy Nimble has in not just pleasing her owner, but that she is super intelligent & is excited to FLY!!
I just lost my 13.5 yr All-American dog lasr week -- Boo. She was the the smartest and quite an athlete her whole life..tears just watching Nimble.

My dog Bella was a papillon cross with a border collie but also pomeranian and chihuahua. She looked a lot like this dog except reddish brown. She was smart, agile and even climbed mountains people could not navigate on. A horrible stupid off leash pitbull killed her in December. I am still so bummed but I have her puppy and am hoping to breed her to a papillion.
You can tell how smart that dog is by her eyes. What an athlete.
She brings tears to my eyes, bc you can see the pure joy in her eyes at what she's doing ❤

I watched it live and was SCREAMING & cried and I’ve been to dog shows for years & NEVER saw anything like

She's a border pap. They bred mini border collies on purpose essentially. Not a typical all American dog
@@alexelliott806 exactly, it's a mixed breed that was purposely bred for agility, not some dog from the pound.
@@NelsonJ1that was my point. It's not shocking with these sport mixes all over the place to see one win. I'd be very interested to see this dog at WAO and have the same outcome though 😏
Incredible run. Same handler as Truant. I would expect Nimble will break the world record next year for any class.

I had an all American dog-border collie and ??. He was the sweetest, smartest, best companion EVER!! He is watching from doggie heaven and smiling ❤
I just got done watching this show. Amazing! The last few runs with the border collies were awesome. Nimble is a beast.
Nimble actually gave me goose bumps!! Nimble was completely focused fast and determined!! Unbelievable!! I always love these agility contests. Every dog is Great!! I have special dogs I have seen in the past that are absolutely tremendous. Lark being one of them!! Papillon's and Border Collies usually Excel in the agilities. Every dog was a winner in my eyes. But WOW Nimble left me in Awe❤

I love how it wasn't even close. Nimble won by 9.5 seconds. If a picture really was worth 1,000 words, then 0:19 would tell the entire story. Nimble was full of unfiltered concentration and speed. It's the concentration that people undervalue. You can be the fastest dog in the world but if you don't merge it with focusing on the path, you will not accomplish what Nimble did.
I also love the term "All-American Dog"; it's a great term to avoid making dogs who are mixed-breed feel isolated.

That’s why I’m getting a Border Collie as my first dog this weekend. They’re so awesome.
My master says you are in for a world of hurt - be prepared. The rewards IMO are great.
My husband kept warning me for the breed and kept saying no but the character is great. I saw many people with border collies which pretty well behaved and attractive. I have started watching videos telling how to train dogs to become an excellent owner. Now I’m ready to put my new furmily on my first priority than working and give him the best training by myself.
@@kaorin444 If you have a big back yard and some space and walk a few miles a day with them and some fun, that's all they need. Good luck - keep in touch. On the training thing, my master tried training me by himself , and he did a decent job - DONT neuter until 18 months with my breed.
Something else to consider. Any Border or Border X can be stubborn - they are the smartest dog - smarter than monkees and humans in many aspects. They will test you. I would like to see you and your new Border Collie exceed. See Neil DeGrasse Tyson vs Chaser on tube
