Before I watched this I assumed little dogs would do better. But that dog, Pink was amazing.

@@alecpookie they are an amazing dog breed that literally are made for working, they use their intelligence to herd sheep with a few different types of whistles, once a border collier is trained to do something it can almost do it by itself. It’s also one of the few breeds of dogs that weren’t subject to inbreeding as much.

To most dogs this course is a walk in the park (which they also love btw) A giant game, where they get to run and go fast and jump and get TREATS for it?? Oh boy! Every dogs dream! This is all stuff they do anyways. And what exactly else would fuel an athlete to compete in the Olympics. Passion. And if you don't see the passion in those dogs eyes as they wait to start, or excitedly barking as they run, than somethings wrong with you. Or maybe there already is, since you feel the need to bash a bunch of litteral dogs for having fun.

Pixel barking after finishing the course brought tears to my eyes. So happy with the owner happy with her.
Punk, the golden, barked all throughout his run. When he quickly weaved between those poles, he was very vocal during that challenge. Loved his attitude.

The border collie doing the weave poles was incredible! Half the time her inside front paw was airborne cuz it was faster and more efficient. Those front legs hitting right after the back legs come up was amazing as well

On the Weave, Pink usually hits on only one front paw, all the others use two to push off!

Patch Davis Every dog is different in figuring out their pace and what is realistic given their size/body frame and body carriage (Border Collies crouch, and most breeds don’t). Small dogs won’t be able to do a “one foot weave”.
Even then, P!nk is actually doing weaves pushing off of both paws on each side. She’s not doing a “one paw weave” like some larger dogs do.

Lilia I‘ve got 3 shelties and everyone‘s doing it differently. Surprisingly the fastest is doing it similar to the border collie in this video. Amazing to look at the different styles how dogs to these things

I had a border collie years ago. She was one of the most fascinating dogs I shared my life with and the most intelligent.
P!nk is bred by the owner of the agility facility I go to train at and it’s really cool seeing one of her bred-by dogs doing well at a high level and at such a young age! Jennifer Crank is also a great handler (with her own Shelties, too)!
I found out Lili Ann is the daughter of the only Australian Shepherd to win the herding group at Westminster (Deuce), which is cool! Both of her parents have their own agility titles, too.
P!nk's owner is local to me.
I love seeing her work. You can see she really loves what she does.

The thing I love about the papillon is its playing and hard to control every second but the run where they're perfect, it's obvious the dog has a lot of fun while its training.
It made me tear up, dont know why, they are sooo smart, andnthat enthusiasm and exctasy in their eyes...so beautiful, so adorable ❤❤❤
