WorkshopSeventy7 have taken a classic 1973 Porsche 911T, and sympathetically hot rodded it - transforming both the look and feel of the car. Maintaining it's original narrow 901 body lines, but increasing performance through tweaks to the suspension, geometry and engine. It still drives like a classic Porsche 911, but with an extra level of refinement.
A truly beautiful classic Porsche 911 restomod.

@@Mumbo Ayy, we use that camera at our school. Also i otherwise really like this video but in the shots where there's just talking and not alot of action the camera should maybe move less to give it a bit more of a chill vibe.
@@Zentrify I think he's talked about that before. He likes to not use mounts because it gives a much more human feel to it, if I remember correctly. So it's an intentional choice that I love

Mumbo I love how you film these pieces. The slight shaking that comes from filming handheld just adds so much to the atmosphere. You also really nail the lighting.

Personally, I’m not a car person but this was a very interesting watch
This film truly captures the raw passion that goes into driving with your car, especially classics. I agree with everything that was said. And while some beauties should be left untouched, there are a few, such as the 911, that once you balance a kind of fresh nostalgia, a splash of uniqueness, and a little improvement, a one-of-a-kind car is created.
I love the style of the film, I hope you feel better soon Mumbo!

Something like this deserves a lot more attention
Theres a specific character to the way Oli makes these short films. The imperfections that somehow seem to make it more perfect, the unsteady camera shots, the way the car pans across the screen with him trying to catch up to it as it drives straight past, the grittiness of the workshop while still creating so much beauty. The colours seem to always be so perfect, with the warm lighting and the haze just feeling so warm and comfortable. Would love to be there seeing this as it is shot! Every single one is a work of art and I love them all!

Mumbo, this film is an absolute masterpiece. I have been interested in cars for all the twelve years of my life, and i feel the same passion, the same feeling of freedom, the same sight at beautiful machines like this. Ive seen some of your other films on cars too, but i think this is definitely the one that made me spill the tea (English tea mourning intensifies)
IN THAT INRTO ALONE, the contrast between the muscle of a cars engine to the ambient silent noice of nature and the surroundings is a classic.
Seeing work like this reminds me why I love classic cars. This is the level of quality workmanship that I aspire to restore my Alfa to.

@@IeeIee778 the car is currently down to the bare shell and I am slowly doing metal work and saving up for a respray. I have since gotten a second 105 series Alfa that I was planning on using for parts but I have since given it to my father so he can work on one as well.

Truly beffiting for a film like this, how very bold, yet an elegant way to show a magnificent car to make a documentary about this. Quite artistic I must say. Splendid work, Mumbo. Wherever she is, her beauty turns that scene into a living painting, and alas, an inferior, new fashioned, zoomer like me couldn't touch this dazzling delicacy. Maybe I should buy this for my dad, he's quite the workman lately, albeit it might be sold out in my home country. It's like playing the piano under a moonlight. The ambience is truly phenomenal. Nothing screams "Mumbo" more than Top Gear!! 👏👏

this film is absolutely amazing! one of my favourites so far, the sound of the car and the grim almost oily shots are amazing. I do have 1 piece of constructive criticism (just one and then I'm nitpicking so you did a damn good job) and that's that I'd want the piano music to be a lot softer, maybe even absent, during the shots of the car so you can really properly enjoy its amazing sound. Love it Mumbo!

It’s also great to see someone properly taking the actual sound of the car. Placing the mic on the exhaust to grab the beautiful sound these cars produce. Something that not even top gear does 100% of the time. Well done Mumbo great work and I look forward to seeing more!

I love the camera movement, at the same time it feels a little distracting yet the video is built so without it, it just wouldn’t work, so idk. The video is wonderfully made
Lol scrolling through your videos I find one tilted “your footage is shaky” I get why you do it but some parts like when he is driving the car, without any cuts to the engine, should be still. The viewer can be focused on the subject, the car.

One of my favorite cars growing up
I can't find the words to describe Mumbo's mastery of the camera and editing. I could call this Hollywood worthy, which to most is seen as the place where the movie quality is as good as it can possibly be, but these beautiful pieces of film dwarf anything Hollywood can dish out. Loving every second of this. Mumbo, I wish you the best and hope everything goes well so you can continue doing what you love.
