- Trying out the latest Stark Varg Software update with Crawl Mode! Reverse and hill hold along with smoother power. No clutch, no shifting, no heat, no noise, multiple maps from 10hp to 80hp...just throttle and brakes. The Stark Varg is very easy to ride and very easy to like!

Map 4 Wheelies 😎 Map 5 Wheelies 🚀 80 hp Wheelies through the corn 🏆 reverse ??? don’t see that everyday on a dirt bike. 🎯
Yes reverse on a dirt bike and it actually comes in handy many times on the trail!
Mine at 60 is auto wheelie still. I don't know why you're not having that.
It just feels a little different to me - like there is some kind of monitoring of how fast the motor builds RPM's and dialing that back - like traction control. There is a slight non-linear response I did not feel with this bike on the original software. I really like reverse and actually used it a few times in the woods though it can just spin the tire in more extreme situations. Glad you are happy with the new software!
They absolutely neutered the stark with this update. Can hold 80hp mode wide open now and only get 65 mph. Before you wouldn't think about doing that and could get 82mph before update. Can't lift front tire anymore in 60hp. Hopefully you can revert back to old software, because for us non track riding customers this ain't it. That and 2 day long charging on 110v at 0.5 amps I'm starting to lose patience.
Yes to me if feels like the focus was on smoothing the power and getting more power to the ground for better lap times around the track. I think it works for that target but it has lost some of the crazy acceleration "fun" factor for me along with making those long effortless wheelies harder to do. Not sure Stark offers the ability to go back to the previous setting.
UPDATE!! i had to reset all my modes and save them to the bike again to get full power. It's almost like it defaults all modes to 20hp after the update. 80hp mode will again go into warp drive and try to kill you!! Hope this helps someone else that was as disappointed as I was when I lost all the fun factor with this update.
@@walkercollins4075 That IS good news! Can you easily do pop-up wheelies again?
@keithplemmons5615
Yeah, i ride it on 60hp all the time and like the instant hit to lift the front tire. Coming from a yz450f, I like instant torque. What ever happened after the update felt like riding a ttr 125, so I'm very happy to get the power back.
I'm within a couple of days of buying one from a dealer, but if this thing has been de-rated and wheelies are not as they were before...I'm not gonna buy it.
I have no specifics on what was changed with the update - only have ridden the bike before and after the update and shared my thoughts in this video. I would recommend reaching out to Stark directly with your concerns about the update. Would also be good to take a test ride on a Varg and judge for yourself. The Varg is such a unique off road riding experience!
@@mxengineer1 Thank you for the information. Do you know what number update made the changes that we are referring?
@@keithplemmons5615 This is the video Stark released describing the software update. I believe this is the latest software update and the only update I am aware of that has reverse.... czcams.com/video/35ydnUjlLOk/video.html
A update, I have full power back now after resetting all the modes. With no help from stark I was about 5 mins away from selling my varg. But it is back to its old power now after tinkering alittle. Hope this helps your decision
