Thanks for discussing and keeping my ancestors language alive (even my dad use to speak the same), now since last 20-30 years, it has been projected as associated with particular faith and local languages has been sanskritized with weird words. I am not against adopting new words in vocabulary but its sin to separate local people from language of villages in western UP/Haryana

The way people place the lapel mics - it is doing a disservice to themselves. I believe the audio engineers should properly test out their placements. When Dr Jafri is speaking so animatedly, the mic fails to capture his voice consistently and there's a waxing and waning of his speaking volume, which causes a bit of a jarring experience. Hope this can get fixed going forward.

@@salimalvi5178 never expect a field expert to be a good human as well,you mentioned aurat means x nikah means y etc that doesn't matter in a sense that now such words are being used to portray a different meaning ,meer taqi meer had multiple couplets on teenageboy love no doubt but this doesn't mean he wasn't a great poet,there will always (almost always) be a clash between said and done.

Kalidas,Kabeer and Surdas are all great poets in their own rights, no doubt about it, and same is with meer, he is also an indian poet, just like them, ksii ki badai karne ke liye kisi ko chota dikhane ki zarurat nhi hoti haii.. hanare liye tulsidas, kabeer bhi itne hi previous hain jitne meer, , ho skta h inhone kalidas or ya kabeer ko na padha ho... but in India, meer is respected in same manner by people who have read kabir, surdas, anand vardhan, kalidas and they don't have any problem with it. No need to be insecure that someone is praising one poet and not the other.., we should be all and feel proud that masters like meera, kabir, surdas, kalidas, raskhan, meer, ghalib, khusrow were all born in our india.
