EPA: how about we put a deadly blue liquid into the exhaust of diesel trucks to ruin performance and kill the environment faster than the emissions can with plastic jugs.

Love the content. Hardest part is trying to figure if the car at the line is running an 8th or a quarter
It’s easy you can tell by time & mph. 6.90-6.00 in the quarter should be around 200-250 mph. Those same cars should run about 4.50-3.90 ish in the eighth at around 160-180 ish.
You won’t see a doorcar go faster than 5 sec in the quarter so if you see a doorcar run like a 3.70 @ 200 then you know it’s the eighth

@@TheJT199 yes but also were not watching the same cars run twice. Its all different cars at different power levels. He can show back to back 1/4 and one car run a 7 and another run a 5 but the 5 can also be a 1/8th time so it is hard to tell.

Just gotta get an idea for how the MPH vs E/T. Your 5 second ET at like 150 is an 1/8, while your 10 second ET at 150 would be 1/4 mile

That black Supra at the 4:40 mark was done so clean. I remember the video of that car and the interior was just as nice as the outside.

8:25 proof right there that diesels don't have to throw volcanoes of soot in order to produce good power. In fact, the trouble is usually lack of air.
When it is smoking there is more power to gain
@@jessecoc6247 Like gasoline, it's a ratio of fuel and air. Too much diesel, not enough air = dark soot.
Iirc, the guys in the s10 have 2 or 3 kits of nitrous. I was there for that race and it was ridiculous
