Thank you for the video Dave! I am so glad to hear that the Hendrick cars will all be available without buying a set. Looks like I will be pre ordering those when the time comes!
Greetings Dave, just a short message to say “thanks” to you and L.E.B. for bringing us the Carrera updates. I for one appreciate the “behind the retail” information and insight you bring to your viewers. There’s so much more than just what cars you have in your collection and on your track. Big Thumbs Up!
Very nice and professional piece there Dave. Frank is a great guy too. It's a shame there's this differentiation between North America and the German markets but when it comes to 'classics' then I certainly believe we are all on the same page 😀 Still can't imagine where all those 'Go' sets end up? I suppose their consumer base is not the most articulate like us 'older' kids and that's a universal truth!
Great show again Dave. I can’t get my head around the fact that Carrera haven’t got a F1 32 scale car. It is a world wide race that international demand . Cheers
Thank you Dave. Very interesting. Great to hear that the post-pandemic market is still strong! Carrera seems to have the right idea about entry level offerings to get kids into the hobby. The model railroading market had Thomas but slipped up IMHO in transitioning to other scales. With maybe the exceptions of the Polar Express and Harry Potter themed offerings.
Thanks Dave! I always surprised that Indycar doesn't come up,it has been gaining in popularity the last few years, the Indy 500 is the largest single day sporting event in the world! Talk about a opportunity to get young people into the hobby! At least have a TV advertisement, most people don't even know what slot cars are! Talk about a untaped market!
So I did a video a while ago about open wheel cars. The problem is that Indy car isn't popular in the US and isn't known outside of the US. It's splitting a hair for European companies to even consider making anything other than F1 if you're talking about open wheel racing in general.
So if I have this right It's just the Camaro and just Hendrick Motorsports that is being represented.? Will they be doing the Mustangs and Camrys in the future? If they are only doing one team and car make I don't know how successful this will be. Personally I think they should have done at least one of each brand from the top teams and then added on later. Chevy has 12 other cars and Ford has 15 cars and Toyota another 6 cars that run full time in CUP .
It has been a while since I built a 1/24-1/25 model . I couldn't believe how expensive they got . Most retailers I've seen have them at about $30. I'll stick with ready to slot cars for $75
Brilliant Dave. Excellent coverage of the toy fair and excellent interviews 🇬🇧🇬🇧

Nice interview, thanks for posting.
KooL stuff Dave. Thanks for the scoop! Great interview.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks Mr. Kennedy, that was awesome.
Excellent, Dave! Thanks for doing this. And thanks to LEB Hobbies for their support. One of my go-to retailers.😊
Thanks for sharing Dave.

Cool interview and video 😎
Would be great to see some Commercial’s come out for Carrera and NASCAR at Christmastime would be great for the hobby and racing !
Damn, those Group 5 cars...
Thank you for this video.

NASCAR is such a great addition. Sounds like the door is open for 1/32 F1‘s in 2024, crossing my fingers.
Sure would be nice!
Grab stuff thanks Dave.
Great interview! Look at the girl in the background with the Slurpee xD
Awesome
Great interview Dave!
It would be really cool for Carrera/Revell to offer conversion kits for the Revell models to slot cars

Just Camaro is announced for 2024. Beyond that there is no information.
HMS very nice!
Hope we get more Formula 1 here in the US.
F1 is a worldwide license. I'm not sure what they might do for 2024 for that.
I wish I knew this was going on....I don't work far from there.

Dave, will Revell make 1\32 models of their slot cars too?
No, Revell make models only. They used to make slots but that was a different company ownership that did that years ago.
It's just models now.
Do you know if the Nascar Sets/cars will also be distributed in Germany/Europe?
I don't know. I will ask.
Yes they will.
@@SlotCarNewsOfficialThat's great news! Thank you very much!
Is the Winged Warrior series going on an indefinite hiatus at this time?
No there’s a new one coming soon.
I just posted a photo of the new car
