I’m glad to see you’re resuming this project! Never give up!
Got that dash all welded up last night off camera. It's all getting done!
Great job. Happy to see the truck was not destroyed with the fire.
Didn't turn out to really damage a whole lot honestly!
It's good to see you persevere and show some tenacity in getting it done.
We are absolutely getting this thing on the road.
Great work Dave. Happy the project didn’t burn to the ground. This will be a nice ass right when it’s done.👍👍🇨🇦
I hope so!

Another great video!🥸
Thank you sir!
I’m glad you stuck with it! Would have been a shame to just let it go.
Oh, its getting finished!
Looks good
thanks!
Glad not too much of the hvac was burnt, hope it still cools with some minor repairs. Yeah definitely get 'all nice and deep like' with the seam sealer from the outside and inside and call it good to go. Maybe weld a brace from the bottom middle of the international cowl to the top of the mercury's cowl; I assume that windshield is heavy.
I think bracing that cowl is also needed! Thank you!
See dave i just new you could plus joker and matrix welding hood love it need to see jess more i love just watching
Jess will be doing all the work in Mondays video coming up!
In the words of Rob Schneider "You can do it!!"
Let's hope! Lol
Nice Dave!!! The air nibbler cutter puts out really sharp c shape pieces of steel. Something to think about if dogs or bare footed people frequent your shop. I want to get an electric shear and a throatless shear as well. First car I set on fire 76 Newport. It was my second derby car and a welding spark landed on the foam pad I had under the fuel filter. Yikes. We got it out before the whole tank went up. LOL!! Glad your fire didn't do any worse damage!!!
Well I'm glad we didn't have that kind of fire! I had a derby car light on fire........but it was when I was driving it!
guess it has a new name. PHOENIX
Should be!
That usually seems to be the Breakover point, i.e. where you can see the possibility of completion; just after overcoming some massive FUBAR situation.
I welded up the entire dash area last night. Getting this far motivates me!
I have an older version of the Teslong (spelling is hard 🤷🏼♂️) scanner. It’s pretty awesome. I use it a lot.
Seam sealer makes me the welder that I ain’t!
@@troysgarage Ordered 2 tubes of it last night! LOL
Today we're going to put an international truck on pablo escobar's mercury grand marquee

The cluster comes out much easier honestly. Pull the front trim, remove the bezel and its a 4 screws. Not terrible if you are considering removing it!
Can you tell me what type of welding helmet you have please?
Miller Elite Joker and I think I used a YesWelder Steam punk.
As a fellow Ginger, please protect your arms from the UV rays of the welders by simply wearing a welding jacket or welding sleeves. Our skin is NOT like other darker skinned folks, although they still have to be mindful of UV rays.
Just ask me how I know about skin cancers..., just a word of advice from an Old Ginger welder/diver.
Still a good vidjeo!
Thanks for the concern! I will cover up!
@madgingercustoms You'll thank me in about 10-20 years from now. No joke.
Stay safe, stay thirsty my friend!
if they really liked you they would have sent you dual lens like i got plus articulation lol sukka
The fact that anyone sends me anything is amazing!!
@@madgingercustoms everyone tells me i should start a channel i don't think i have the attitude for that but free is the price i like lol but please don't make your whole channel an advertisement word of advice just mention the the free stuff while using it short and sweet naturally while keeping on keeping on during actual use i watch like 50 channels and as soon as i see you guys start unnaturally plugging stuff i personally start cringing be real be natural buddy and i will continue with the thumbs up i hope the wiring survived you not covering it up those little hot sparks can be nasty
@@MrTehudson Unfortunately a lot of our "sponsors" have contractual obligations set forth. It's a necessary evil. When we started CZcams we were going to do the car stuff and then separate reviews for stuff I bought and liked. We run our CZcams like a business even though we don't really make much money. It takes 30-40 hours a week to put out videos and we like to see some return on that investment. We have other avenues of income besides our day jobs and we weekly discuss having to stop doing CZcams in order to run other parts of business. Anyone that does CZcams and wants to do it full time really needs to run it as a business from day 1. In the end we try to balance out the advertising and I try to only show the stuff I really like. That borescope is super handy and I don't get paid to tell anyone its good. Making videos is fun a lot of the time but it mainly is terribly stressful, time consuming, and really just slows down building cars! Sorry about the product placement.
@@madgingercustoms don't get me wrong my friend i buy a lot of stuff that i wouldn't know existed if not for youtube videos and don't apologize for your product placements your not to the point you have to (YET) lol
I'd call it the Grand International! LOL
That powder is baking soda! (bicarbinate of soda)
When you got to turn on the A/C or heat, it's gonna blast you with baking soda!🙄
Screwing the pooch actually means getting stuck in a very embarassing situation...🐩👈
You redeemed yourself quite well! (no redemption necessary)
Thanx for a great vid Dave!
I have been blowing out the vents with a leaf blower and the blow gun for days it seems!!! LOL
