- Hi guys! This is one of my older covers. This is a cover of SMT III: Nocturne's Fierce Battle theme which I did to celebrate Nocturne's remake being announced! Hope y'all enjoy!

It’s a flaw in the universe that you weren’t blessed with the best recording equipment money could buy when you made this. This cover is a masterpiece. You staying on the strings note to note and playing this song with it’s iconic, actually “wicked” melody is an expert interpretation of what the original piece was trying to deliver to the listener.
Everybody I’ve seen cover this song always tries to recreate it with some abrupt, thrashing, stampeding, and shouting death-metal SMT concert style. Not that a lot of those covers aren’t good, they’re great, for somebody looking for that stuff. But, I’ve been waiting for somebody to not try to play this song like it’s a raging wildfire and instead play it how Meguro did- a fucking lightning storm!

Edit: I just had to add that I didn’t even realize while writing this and listening, that I was tapping my heel and nodding to the same rhythm that old one gets me vibing to, without fail. You fucking nailed it man, one more time- awesome job!

@@Ahiboa Hell yeah, man. I’d say your cover is the ONLY one that does the original total justice. Instead of trying to sound like a familiar but entirely new rendition, you played this complementary to the original- to such a fine point that it very easily could’ve been in the game and I would have never have thought twice about it. Which is what makes a good cover, a *good cover* . You play like Shoji himself, excellent fucking job, bro!

@@the_j_machine2254 sorry for the late reply man, been busy with work. Nocturne remaster is alright especially for those who didn't get to experience the original game! Though it really does have a steep price tag for what it offers
