What'd you think of a mega rival idea?
Essentially a motorized flywheel tennis ball launcher that you shove foam stress balls into. Extend the hopper or make it proton pack fed and you've got an impractical yet fun blaster.
It would just be the old ballistic balls, wouldn't it?
I dig it.
Stress balls are pretty dense relative to nerf foam, they might have potential for excellent range and accuracy. I'm sure you'd need some truly monstrous motors and flywheels though.
Sounds like a main gun for a tank!
The swordfish looks to have great integration potential as well, I cant wait to see what happens in the future for this.

I had a thought as to why they don’t have it already dremeled out for lipo-
If they did- they would have absolutely NO chance of using IMR’s or IFR’s or 14500 Nimh cells, ever. This way, you can choose which one you want.
They could either only have it be lipo friendly, and screw over anyone who wants to use AA size cells, or they go the route that they did and allow you to choose.
If you plan to paint this thing, I think you should paint it up in your colors. You should paint the body black with the swordfish emblem orange. Maybe orange accents on the grip. I think that would look awesome.

I have another idea this time try making a blaster (springer) with three barrels all with different integrated blasters all connected to a pump grip Puragon a Apollo and a Mediator all connected to a pump grip

I've had issues trying to fit a heston typhoon and ofp cages in the swordfish
Will work with the worker full auto kit as is. I even got mine worked out to not need the rev switch by swapping the NO to NC and putting it in front of the trigger.

It costs slightly more than a Stryfe in the UK, I can pick up a Stryfe on amazon prime for £19, but I generally end up ripping the entire loom out and replacing it with my own 3D printed cages, generally a 43mm cage with Worker High-Crush Black oblique flywheels, and they run absolutely marvellously with a 1000mAh 2S 40C LiPo, that fits in the stock battery tray with a little dremmeling and is enough to power a pair of Meishel 2.0's, and it's very accurate up to about 70 feet easily.
Sadly for all the people who bang on about the orange tip, one of mine is all black and has a laser sight and tactical light and apart from the magazine, looks like am MP5-SD, which I used when I was in the military, it's a private piece only and I use it only indoors or on my private land. It is a beast though. And I have a Class 1 Firearms licence. So just be careful and respect your local laws.

Captain Xavier I'm starting my Engineering Graphics class this coming school semester where I'll learn how to use Solidworks, I will take those skills and put those towards making these diabolical creations. I have plans for 5 blasters I'd like to bring to life, and I'd like you to be the tester for them.

also, there is a 3 switch auto kit for the stryfe and swordfish available
Lol they just came out with a clear blue shell on nfstrike.
Also if you don't like the clear I would advise against dying the shell (you can try if you wish) but case and point would be PsYk and his MCX kit (it got really warped)

Do you have a preference when building auto stryfes on the kit you use? I know most people use the XSW full auto kit, but I was wondering if you had any knowledge on the sledgehammer kit or any other kits.
I use 3d printed kits now. I like the XSW kits quite a bit. I do not like the Sledgehammer kits.
I might get one and use the clear vector kit and clear worker mags.... sadly there aren't any worker clear stocks or barrel attachments.
I'll just paint them clear (Coop772 reference)

There are clear stocks. And foregrips. Not sure about barrels.

Does anyone have experience ordering from Lightake? I’ve found a ton of negative reviews about them but those all seemed to relate to Rubik’s cube stuff and slow shipping
Shipping is slow but that is why the stuff is so cheap.

Am I the only one who doesn't like the asymmetrical bulge of the battery door of strife's and such? I wish the door was on the top or the bottom for a more balanced look.

Not really. It is recessed. You would have to sand about a mm of material off the entire rest of the blaster to get rid of it...

Cap is the point of a suicide jolt to tag your self before some one else can so you can go ha you didn't tag me
vanoss fan 121 I'm pretty sure it's to tag yourself out before you get turned into a zombie
Yes...and no. The suicide jolt is for use in HvZ to use on yourself when you are completely out of ammo and the horde is closing in. It is a roleplay thing. You shoot yourself rather than get "killed" by the Horde. You still get tagged of course and you still have to become a Zombie but it is a last act of defiance for the fun of it.
