- Hamas tunnels use different tunneling methods, ranging from simple manual strategies to slightly advanced methods like forepolling and drilling blasts.
They also employ reinforced concrete to support the underground structures, which are divided into approximately 7 to 8 levels deep underground.
These tunnels are intentionally dug deep to protect against bunker-buster bombs like the one mentioned.
The network comprises an estimated 1,300 tunnels, spanning a total length of around 500 kilometers which translates to 310 miles.
Some of these tunnels delve as deep as 70 meters (230 feet) underground.
Reports indicate that the majority of the tunnels are merely two meters high and two meters wide.

The Palestinians did not use explosives to dig. Gaza’s soil is sandy and easy to dig by hand or with silent electrical tools. The sand is pulled out of the tunnel via a rail and small boxes... You must correct your information.
There are some areas where i read in the News - the Most Advance Tunnels not the 2 meter deep tunnels.

Isreali Intelligence Mossad doesn't really know where these tunnels are but this guy knows every single detail in THOSE tunnels.
I mean its not like its an exemplary tunnel and there are countless bunkers we know about that are similary designed as well as all the tunnels that where raided elsewhere in the middle east. They are really good in it and have a lot of volunteers because its relative well paying jobs. He stated that some of the tunnels he lived in where 200m deep. And fully liveable. They had barbers, baths, kitchens a tailor, different workshops and more in them. Some of their connection tummels between different main structures where big enough that they used motorbycicles to travel through them.

I think the tunnels is more deeper than that and alot more complex. Theres a video wherr the tunnel can self destruct when its been compromised or breeched. And tunnels are installed with traps

Is the whole tunnel network planned out in advance or did they build the first level and then just keep expanding deeper and deeper as their needs increased?
i dont think it was planned as they started these tunnels back in the 90's , however i believe they anticipated an expansion and the next phases were planned as they went deeper and deeper.

Wow, until Gaza was invaded, I always thought that Hamas just had a rather simple, and more amateurish approach just connecting one building to another in the same way the Mexican Cartels designed and constructed their tunnels underneath the border areas, but fast forward after October 7th, the quality, and sophistication used are very elaborately and successfully used to live, and operate their entire organization under all of Gaza!

In Vietnam such tunnels were built and used by fighters decades ago . Today the tunnels called Cu Chi tunnels have become tourists spots

They started using simple smuggling tunnels between Rafah and Gaza in the early '80s. Tunnels in Gaza started to become more advanced starting from the 2000's.
It is impossible to develop Gaza or West Bank and they are under siege controlled by IL for decades and also IL still expending and building more settlements in the west bank. IDF also keep nagging on Gaza almost yearly with wars, air strikes and multiple ground special operations. PRF also launch missiles as reply or what happening in west bank. People say things when they don't seem to know every details, well here few. Both Gaza and West Bank separated "isles" are surrounded with high wall and monitoring towers equipped with cameras and autonomous gun machines with spying GSM and Wide range RF antennas. This is not from Maze movie, it is Palestinian reality, all these are visible in satellite imagery from google map and others. Any human by default will look for freedom even if die trying, no choice in this.

I am not defending Hamas or Condemning IDF in my comment, i just asked if you have a proof that Hamas is using civilians buildings to shoot rockets.
i don't know how to shoot a rocket from inside a building, your other video just showed how large these rockets are, so do they stuck out from the window?.
i can send you multiple videos showing how Hamas launch these rockets, from farms surrounded by trees and no buildings insight.
Gaza is the most populated city on earth, so i don't think that shooting a rocket from a building is very hard to be recorded on video.
