You can really learn a lot from the Eclipse: importance of consent, the struggle of coming out, valuing human rights, and how a bl story should be portrayed as a whole. We need more bl series like this.

Some people are going to be disappointed in Akk in this part but I am actually proud of him for essentially admitting that he is aware of his feelings but also that he's not ready to act on them; he does this twice in this part and honestly it's a huge step for him. Also proud of Aye for being mature enough to hear that for what it is. Aye is being so careful but firm with Akk in this scene, pushing him but also trying to only ask what he can give. I think he's realized along with the audience how much Akk's identity as the Good Son, Good Suppalo Student, Good Prefect means to him and his family. And when he told Akk that Akk has the right to choose his own happiness and Akk rebutted by saying he chooses not to and has that right too, that honestly broke my heart. Thua, too, doing what he always does, taking his cues from Kan and not pushing, but seamlessly following along with his hints to let the kiss go...whew this series is really giving me feelings. The non-verbal and subtext communication in this series is top-tier.

Yes girl, the way both first and khao portrayed their characters screams professionalism....i never cry over kiss scenes or any normal support giving scenes, but every time akk and ayan support each other and now this kiss scene brought tears in my eyes, akk and ayan definitely touched my heart with their chemistry, and ayan being supportive towards akk is such a mood, idk if will consider Eclipse the best bl drama or not but Akk and Ayan love story will always remain in my memories because they have everything i can ask for in any relationship
There's just something special about the way Akk looks at Ayan. Ayan looks at Akk like Akk is the incarnation of the sun, but Akk looks at Ayan like Ayan is everything beautiful in this world that he wants but can't have, and it simultaneously fills my heart with happiness and breaks it into pieces...
Edit: This is not meant to diminish either of their love for each other. It's just that Ayan loves purely and straightforwardly while the Akk's love is mixed with so many other emotions that love and pain seem to coexist in equal measure.

“For you, i will wait no matter how long.” I started tearing up at the moment, i love aye and akk sm they rlly have amazing chemistry and the actors do such a good job its unreal.
I absolutely love the scene where they kissed. How they portrayed the feelings of both Aye and Akk is so perfectly done. I relate to Akk the most. The label “perfect” was put on him and he’s scared of expressing his emotions, and he’s not used to speaking out. Like Aye said, he’s been carrying the schools problems on his shoulders. This is easily one of the best Gmmtv films!!

I really love the characters development. No cringe. Everything developed naturally and the situations are so realistic and relatable(no matter how annoying it gets) . The boys growing, accepting themselves and learning while none of them is forcing their feelings on their love interests .

Some people were going crazy because the 1st kiss was fake calling it queer baiting and saying it makes no sense for AKk to imagine kissing Ayan because we already know they like each other but this just shows how great that scene was...yes we knows he likes him but seeing that he thinks if kissing Ayan then seeing his reaction here just makes the show so much better. It shows the conflict LGBTQ + ppl often face and it shows how AKk pushes his feelings aside to do what is expected. Agree with you 100%! This is a very real thing that people go through! I also thought it was so interesting that in his fantasy it's Ayan who pulls him into a kiss and not the other way around. I love the fact that Ayan made a confession without making a confession. Ayan didn't tell Akk "I love/like/have feelings for you", he only told Akk how Akk made him feel. While similar two different things. Also that Ayan said he's willing to wait for Akk to tell him how he feels.
And based on the look in his eyes and the fact that he didn't immediately reject anything Ayan did, including the kiss, which he leaned in for, you can definitely tell that this is something Akk clearly wants/longs for. He's just not ready to admit it/act on it.

Khaotung impressed me so much in this series, but I wanna compliment first too. I've said it so many times but his eyes are so expressive, for a character that hides and surpresses his feelings, first did such a good job at portraying the hesitation, the want, the conflict storming inside of himself. You can feel how much he wants Ayan, wants to reciprocate his feelings but that internal battle of wanting to make his parents proud, wanting to uphold his exemplary reputation. Love how Ayan understood Akk and didn't force him to do anything, the hug and confession before the kiss, the consent, and the carressing of the face. It gave me goosebumps. I love this scene so much

When Akk said to Aye "I'm not like you" after the kiss, i didn't hear "i'm not gay like you". What i heard was "i'm not free or brave like you". The flirting and the feelings that come so easily for Ayan are something that feels extremely heavy and loaded for Akk, at this point in his life they aren't something he can just easily blurt out like that. Even if he knows how he feels and Aye knows how he feels he's not brave enough to confront that yet.

The whole episode was unique. I felt warmth, love, sadness. The way Akk didn't close his eyes just before and after kissing and staring at Ayan was so loving. It's like he was watching ayan's sincere feeling. He was moved by him but still chose not to confess. The special thing is they actually don't need any confession clearance or confusion. They are aware of their heart, each others personality and giving actual space to act on it.

So many words and emotions were conveyed in that scene and I love how soft, sweet, chaste, and tender the kiss was. Nothing needed to be said to understand how Akk and Ayan feel towards each other either, and Ayan also seems to understand the internal struggle going on within Akk so he takes things slowly and doesn't push things too far. I love how Ayan also isn't forcing anything, and instead he's letting Akk come to terms with, and accept his own feelings. The chemistry between First and Khao is seriously palpable, which makes the characters come to life and feel more realistic.

By the way, as they pull away from that kiss a little strand of saliva keeps their lips connected for a tiny, miniscule millisecond. I don't know if perhaps I've never noticed it before in other series but this is the first time I've ever noticed that happen in a series.

The confession scene left me speechless! These two's acting is beyond amazing, every one of their expressions was on point. The cinematography, music and dialogue was also perfect. I love how Ayan ask for consent and tell Akk to tell him if he's uncomfortable before kissing him. And I love that Ayan understands Akk is not ready and say he will wait for him.

En realidad Akk es un personaje bastante interesante y muy bien construido, es realmente pesado para el llevar está lucha interna consigo mismo,si nos ponemos a pensar Ayan es mucho más abierto a la decepción o el rechazo o incluso a intentar cosas nuevas porque no tiene nada que perder, en cambio Akk tiene un título,una reputación y los principios que toda una vida se le han venido inculcado, por eso es que el no está dispuesto a abrir su corazón hacia Ayan todavía.
