Hey, nice vids. Changed to shadowblade today and your videos helped get a good idea of what this class can do. I have a question though: is plate good on this class? I am more of plate fan, but i would not want to invest in it for SB and regret it later :)
I dislike plate for sb you loose altot of crit and Attackspeed, those are the most important things i think, i have some gear ideas in the commends somewhere, have a look :)

Oh, i forgot to add that i was thinking how they remove the atk speed and crit bonuses from leather in 3.5 (thinking ahead xD). And if that will make an impact in choosing between leather and plate.

Level 51 going Shadowblade, what are weapons you recommend. Should I use Obsi Katanas, daggers, or sword? Also, should I be going for Obsi gear or lightning/flame ? You should make a shadowblade 3.0 guide :D Thanks in advance!

Wait until i have all my skills Level 55 and i will make a guide! Well there are alot of viable options, i would do it like this: Start with quest gear and the Belt the breeches and the jerkin gha, you should try to get 2 daggers, im using a random one in my off-Hand and the lost garden dagger for the dps and the healing effect, bow and accessoires arnt important just get the best you can get without spending alot of money on it. If you are lucky and get a gha weapon with a good grade to craft it to a mistsong nodachi later on ( it gives attack speed and thats what you want to stack the most) for your cap and boots you should try to get cold-blooded ones they are like 5g each so they are very cheap! If you already have a decent amount of money get obsidian t1 fists, and auroria guards with 10% rapid strike dmg increase or the 50% lastetude effect time decrease! Do events like mistmerrow as often as you can to get your crit gems in the fists(you can also do arenas for that) and the halcy necklace (highest rank possible) thats like the now gear, later on you should go and get a t6 epic obsidian katana or (even better) a gale divine ayanad dagger.
As off-Hand you should try to get the serpentis dagger (not the crit one[still get it tho to use the crit buff before going into a fight) ad cloak you should get the attack speed guild cloak with strengh stamina or agility, later on you want to get gear like this: archeagecalculator.com/?a=12pOt9auguBm10

No im not, im using an ayanad dagger, but a t6 epic katana also works and it will be even better in 3.0

Obsidian katana will always be the best! If youre rich, t7 katana (even epic only) is worf
aight , i always played melle classes with 2Hander im gonna give a shot as dual wield now , Obsidian katana + hungerin blade
and finaly i see another guy using earthen grip as shadowblade , ppl dont realize how awesome it is to have more trips

archeagecalculator.com/?a=12pOt9auguBm10 this is the gear i was going for! In the video i used lightning earrings and celestial mistsong though! A divine obisidan cap also works! But i prefer the Dahuta one. The offhand is the serpentis crit dagger but the other serpentis one is alot better, it decreases the movement and attackspeed of your target!

In the shadowblade clips i used an ayanad divine Gale dagger, and off-Hand serpentis crit rate dagger, in the primeval clips i used the soulforged bow
