I hate to be that person, but someone's gotta say it - the only thing that would make this complete is SANDRA FREAKING OH!! And I have so much love and respect for her and her new endeavors but I gotta say, as much as I loved Mer and Der together, it was definitely her and Christina that were the sun! I literally stopped watching Grey's religiously when she left and although I go back every now and again to see what's happening and still love this show so much, there was just pure magic with Ellen and Sandra together onscreen. But I am still holding out hope that they would do that for the series finale of Grey's whenever that may be... But for now, I'll definitely settle for Patrick Dempsey! ;)

Who knows maybe next season will only be wrap up of 10 or so episodes; maybe less, but it doesn't feel right to end it on that note and they know it.

I agree... I saw a promo for next week and she's already sitting up and alert in the hospital bed 🥺 so no Derek for us! This was just a one time thing... ooooorrr they'll cut to the beach scene in the finale and she'll be dead but after an entire season of her alive. I think the beach scene isn't from her passing out in the parking lot its from her actually being dead.
I was out of work (on leave) during the month of May. Watched every episode of Grey’s Anatomy - yes, 15 seasons or more. I was amazed every single one - puts your life into perspective and says “hey, you have nothing to worry about.....” Got me through that month.
I just wanna said that seeing Ellen and Patrick in a scene again just made me cry so hard. And was crying the entire episode (and in the episode 01 too).

There was this "hollow" always in her heart and on her face. It could be seen in her eyes since he died. I hope she reunites with it no matter how! ❤️

Ellen actually is from Everett Massachusetts, where I am from. She actually grew up and was good friends with my mother who died of brain cancer a few years ago. She obviously didn't come to the wake or funeral, but she sent my family a very nice message. If she dies of a brain tumor I'll probably cry.
