Disconnect the exhaust flex, put under lift jack stands, loosen front sub frame bolts, have stands under rear of sub frame, remove bolts completely, lower rear of sub frame about 6", gives you access to remove rack mounting bolts, then remove fluid lines (don't drop small check valve in rack while removing). It's a lot easier then removing plenum and trying to work over the engine. Try it next time, it's a lot easier if you have a lift. Great Video! Just trying to help.
Your method will not work with out a lift correct? So His method is still good to go from on the Ground right? I don't have a life and about to do this to my wifes car
@@mossquadmodsyfs2004 I am at this very moment doing this job. Everything John said above is true don't doubt that. The only benefit to removing the plenum is new plenum gaskets and that's unrelated.
There is a better way. Drop the subframe rear bolts. remove rack. Done.

Remove the intake???
Yes. Remove the intake to access the little 8mm cooler bolts
Also it gives you so much more room to get to the lines
My 2000 Sable needs a new rack. It looks hard. It would take 8 hours.
