it's not a river - that is the ocean also known as false creek to Vancouverites
Thanks for the letting us know!
False Creek is not a river, it is an inlet leading into English Bay which leads into the Pacific Ocean.
Thank you for the clarification
Thanks for the video Josh, beautiful hotel
Thank you, happy you enjoyed!
Great review!! I would love to stay there if I visit Vancouver! You really got me excited about this place. Thanks for your thorough review Josh!
Thank you for the kind feedback! I really hope you can visit Vancouver someday and experience this incredible property:)
I really enjoy your reviews you just gave me a new place to visit thank you!
Wonderful! Hope to find more of the best properties to share with you.
Great Review!
Thank you!
I enjoy your videos! Could you make a video showing a ranking of your favourite destinations and then what hotel you would use at that place?
That sounds like a great idea! I love it. I’ll definitely try to make it next year sometime. Right now I’m overwhelmed as I have over 30 hotel reviews to edit and upload just since April this year trough now.
@@gogotravelwithjosh Excellent! Looking forward to it as you have travelled to so many places already
Any plan to visit sydney in november to try the new W sydney? It looks stunning from the picture
The W Sydney has been on my list for years! I’m not sure if I can make it this year but hopefully next year! Hope it does open it’s taken so long. I do want to visit W and the new Ritz Melbourne next month!
Did you use a SNA to get that upgrade? or did you book the suite outright?
You can use Suite Night Awards (SNA) to request this room. I did not as originally I needed 2 beds. But at check in they offered us a suite with a roll away bed and we couldn’t refuse! They had lower occupancy so it was available, but if I were to return I probably will use a SNA because this room is just so worth it.
if you think Parq is nice go to JW Edmonton and get a suite.
I have heard amazing things about JW Edmonton, it is definitely on my list to visit!
The "best" hotel in Vancouver is actually NOT a Marriott property. It would be the Fairmont Pacific Rim.
That property does look very nice as well especially the exterior and public spaces. However the rooms in my opinion there look older/ not as nice as the JW’s.
I would have to agree with yvr2002. The F. pac rim is number 1 on most ratings but then again beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Again you proved beautiful hotels only live outside of US 😂
It really is sad how all the good ones are out of country 😂. But there are a few in the US that are beautiful just not many.
