HUGE COUNTER TERRORISM CONVOY! - Unmarked Police cars responding in London

- A large convoy of 6 unmarked police cars and vans is seen responding with blue lights and sirens in London, including a Skoda, BMW, Audi, Mercedes and VW. I'm assuming that these vehicles are from the Met Police Counter terrorism unit, or CTSFO Officers.
Also included in the video are other vehicles from the Metropolitan Police, Fire Engines from the London Fire Brigade (LFB) and Ambulances from London Ambulance Services.

They are from two differing units, if you like, provided by the same agency, one is the HEMs car, the other the PRU, the physician response unit, the latter being a hospital provided intensive emergency care doctor, the first being the helicopter doctor. London Air Ambulance provides the PRUs car and pre hospital staff clinician but the hospital provides the doctors

@@babymetalenjoyer you can fit quite a lot of things in panniers and top boxes especially custom made ones. A good idea would be to have a quick response unit of motorbikes who get on scene first whilst the others catch up

When was this as last Thursday I saw some of them responding individualy maybe theres been a CTSFO operation going on the past few days as when I went there was loads of them going atound responding

They are not necessarily "responding", but merely moving from point A to point B.
You actually don't have a clue what they are, you just speculate it could be CT.
As a matter of fact it could be investigations personnel going or coming back from a training session somewhere out of town.
Or maybe getting their takeaway back to the station while it is still hot
London rush hour they just ignoring the sirene. By the time they reached the destination the terrorists are already escaped lol

Often the black helmeted riders are CID officers being trained or assessed/reassessed by a RPU instructor, by the lines taken only one instructor with two CID and one RPU trainee's.

I find that the police keep their sirens on when there is no way that vehicles can not move out of their way which makes some break road traffic laws and some mount pavements and kerbs and damages their tracking if you can not move out of the way do not move until the flow of traffic starts and then make a space for them to pass
Sound travels, it will possibly let those further down the road hear what is going on behind and do what they can to make sense

To fight "terrorists" aka the guy whocriticized the wrong politician in the commentary section of some third class media site.
3:10 is not something that should have happened. LS09KAO is under no obligation to mount the pavement or risk causing damage to the vehicle. Emergency service drivers are repeatedly told and trained *NOT* to keep sirens on if there is no way they are going to get through traffic. They *HAVE TO WAIT* until other vehicles can move. This problem is becoming more common as Councils inflict us with road narrowing and congestion schemes that have no consultation with emergency services. This war on motorists costs lives around the UK now as more emergency vehicles are slowed and stopped from reaching people in need of help. Council will put railings in, build up kerbs and funnel traffic to restrict the flow and generally obstruct people. If you look at traffic flow years ago it was great, now they are actively causing pollution too by keeping cars on the road longer and driving at higher RPM in 20mph limits that don't stop people walking in front of cars.
*NEVER CROSS RED LIGHTS* if any emergency vehicle is behind you unless a police officer in uniform gets out of the vehicle thy are in and directs traffic at the junction. If they refuse to do this, they are not in a rush and there is no real emergency. You can not be prosecuted for not breaking the Law, you can not cross a red light unless directed, if you do and there is injury or death caused, you go to prison, it is as simple as that. You might think you are doing the right thing, but you are liable to prosecution. The police/ambulance/fire problem with the Council is not your problem - that is for them to take up with the Council if they feel they were not consulted about road restrictions and are being delayed by them.
DO NOT go in to Bus Lanes, emergency vehicles are exempt and can do so, if they refuse to - they are misusing their blue lights.
DO NOT cross red lights unless directed by a police officer in uniform who stands and directs traffic.
DO NOT drive your vehicle on to a pavement, you will be charged for various offences, especially if someone is injured.
DO NOT drive in to a yellow box to make room, you will still be fined as it is no defence.
DO NOT cross a white lane when there is a red light camera, you will be fined as you have NO legal defence for doing so.
Emergency drivers are trained to go around people, not sit like muppets with sirens and blue lights going when they know people can no longer move due to local councils restricting road use.
