Frozen Orb is back!!! This is Mox On Hit here, happy to see came by! I got a new leveling build for you, and a solid starter guide for the new Season 4 for Diablo IV. This has been an absolute blast to play so far, and has "shattered" the content that we have thrown at it so far! We still have lots of upgrades to get, but it has been a workhorse that has been able to grind it all: Helltides, Gauntlet, Nightmare Dungeons, Bosses, and The Pit! Fun against PIT bosses: Blood Bishop, Slither, Bramble, Spirit Caller of Frost, Seahag, Sharpshooter, Chieftan, Elias, and Lilith.

I'm really excited to try a meteor build. No one seems to be touching it, but the fact that it's not meta excites me even more! Huge HP pool and spamming a cooldown seems like it could be decently tanky.
It is on my list as well! I got a Starfall with Max Meteor and lowest CDR, so it is in the works. I will see what I can come up with. I have a few other builds in line first, so hopefully you don't mind waiting a few!

edit: this video fixes 99% of the problems that people are having which is amazing it's really well explained. Playing this build since season start I will say this at higher level pits this is a squishy ass build and like you said positioning is the key. This build isn't meant to one shot stuff but to teach players the mechanic of the game and how to properly dodge stuff.

after looking at the updated gear and such i want to thank you for doing your best to fix up the gear and more importantly explaining the builds more in depth. i know i dont have perfect gear but i am quite please to know the build has changed even better. Thank you for everything Mox, i hope things continue to go well for you, and especially good luck with the other sorc builds.

Thanks for the update. This build is a lot of fun to play, and to me that is the most important thing. I'm more of a casual player (despite playing Diablo since the very first came out 👴) so I don't know how far into the end game I will go, but it's been a blast, and I do feel OP most of the time, even with just okay gear. Also not dying much at all (...yet). Is there a priority list of which glyphs to upgrade first?
Having fun is absolutely the biggest goal! Glad you are enjoying this build too. I try my best to make them approachable and realistic builds!
@adzooks44 For Glyphs... for order, I would focus on Exploit, Control, Destruction, Flameseeker, Elementalist, and Conjuration. Get them all to 15, then focus going back to max them in that order again to 21!

Yo! Been following a different frozen orb build. At work thinking to my self, man I really need to see if there is a better frozen orb build because not getting these Uber uniques are killing the build and line behold..... MANA is tanking. @@MoxOnHit So I just switched fully into this build this morning. I fricken LOVE it. The fix to my mana was instant relief. Put it on a few pieces of gear as you suggested, even got lucky and got plus 4 per second and it helped TONS. Got a few more levels and hit the pit so I moved my paragon board to yours and my glyph and leveling them now. But instantly felt way stronger and didn't have to worry even in the same level nightmare dungeons I was running prior to this change and I'm shredding. Love all the changes and thanks for all the help. Really made playing this build fun and Ive learned so much now. Thanks a ton for the work you've been doing on the build and the updates. Keep teaching me I appreciate it.

Just an FYI: Frigid Fate and Icefall are both bugged. So is the Storm Swell aspect. Streamers are finding other bugs as well - and they all seem to be tied to sorc vulnerable damage. All the bugs make sorc weaker. Goldfarminguide, Ragegamingvideos and others have confirmed this. Hopefully Blizzard fixes this.
Yeah, might swap some out and see. Storm Swell I don't think is bugged though. That one I have had mixed results with, and actually seen a positive damage increase. Icefall I have seen an increase as well.
As for the Frigid Fate, I will go to update the paragon board soon when I can get a new optimized layout I like!

Can you show/post your damage stats? I have a different paragon and gear setup and the multipliers on aspects and glyphs are usually pretty similar in everyone’s build but I’m interested in the total cold, non phys, crit and vuln damage stats for comparison…if everyone used the same glyphs and aspects those stats are the only real difference between one paragon/temper setup to another so it would be nice to see that in build vids as well

How would you feel taking off Tal Rasha’s ring? With tempering I feel like it’s easier to get a legendary ring to get a damage bonus above 60%
Might be worth trying if it was a great Attack Speed affix. Still looking for a good enough one to try it out.
@@MoxOnHityou only get 45% out of Talrasha from this build right? Unless you sacrifice one of your frozen orb temper for chance deal poison or shadow.
Yes, sorry, 45% haha. Yea, if you can get a high enough IAS roll, then I think it is worth it. There is rumoring through some sorc circles though, that Storm Swell Aspect might be working as intended. If that is the case, then it still would need to be Tals. If they fix this, and you can add Storm Swell back, then for sure it would be worth it. Having more IAS, and 2 more tempering would be really nice actually. Could add Ice Blades CDR tempering then too.
Can pits be run in group?
Absolutely! This does great with groups! We help a lot with the stagger bar on the boss, and keeping trash/elites frozen. Helps a lot to make PITs and content safer and quicker for most every party comp. If you want to carry your friends too, it can do 61s - 2P, 51s - 3P, 41s - 4P. If you don't have the build completely maxed yet, drop 10 levels off each of those.
No matter how much armor sorcerer has, she is squishy 😂😂.. 18,000 armor /12,000 life and get one shotted by an explosion in tier 5???.. and the resistances are 70 and above smh.
Yeah, needs some solid increase to barrier or life. It is worth noting for the specs you listed though... 9,200 armor is the new cap. 18,000 is overkill. You could take away from armor rolls and add life back! Try to get as close to the 9,200 armor as possible.
Agreed though, they should work on some of the life and barrier levels for Sorc!
