Thank you for posting the setlist 🤘
whoever mixed the sound, i wish you the best of all luck in the world. this is the best live sounds i've heard on youtube so far
indeed
Agreed - mix was on point!
@@AverageDaveVideos yup yup yup
They sound pretty much like if they were recorded from studio, outstanding work.
man, jacoby is one of the best live singers we got in this world, he just nails every performance, always sounds so close to the studio versions, its amazing!
lol no, hes a tool
Nothing but respect for these guys. 20 years doing it well isn't easy. Still sound great, still rocking it.
@saadhakrohit Damn. crazy!
What's crazy is they keep getting better
This Guys are Born for Greatness
The best live performance i have seen in recent memory. Jacoby and the boys makes me feel like its 2005 again, they perform like they're in their 20s. Respect.
They are in their 23, we all are! 😺
Exactly!
Same energy as 20+ years ago... Respect!!
Jesus. Mind. Blown. How do they sound this good and perform with that level of energy after all these years? Papa Roach got me through school in 2002.
Me too dude.
me three dude
me four
saw them a few months back, absolutely unreal, pretty much exactly as this video.
Me five😂
Holy mother of all cows, this band really caught me off guard. What a PERFORMANCE!!! I wasn't expecting this much energy and I've never particularly been a Papa Roach fan. And the vocalist sounds as good as 23 years ago. These guys deserve respect.
These guys are beasts when it comes to live shows. Few bands with this many years under their belt still out on shows that are this intense. Right up there with KoRn/Slipknot.
@@Divine_Serpent_Geh I've been in both Papa Roach and Slipknot concerts. I can say that Papa Roach is killing Slipknot when it comes to a live performance.
Slipknot was pretty much okay, but papa roach really claps some cheeks. Amazing vocals
@@Divine_Serpent_Geh I've attended Korn and Slipknot and they're certainly great! Korn has always been a good act but they really went up some levels when they added Ray Luzier to the band. And Slipknot performed like a train, but they're like 9 dudes hahaha. Papa Roach really feels alive and energetic, they strongly believe in what they deliver to the crowd. And I say it because their music is simpler than Korn's or Slipknot's.
@@user-vs3vp4em8zin your dreams lol
Man, Jacoby's vocals and energy is insane! Amazing performance Fucking Papa Roach!!
Makes me so happy to see Papa Roach still killing it. These guys wrote anthems for a generation
edit: the crowd is phenomenal!
I’m speechless they sound better than ever my gawd !!!! Jacoby looks like he’s in his 20’s !!!!
As an 80's teen, These guys always feel like a new band to me, even though they have been rocking for 23 years. I'm sure you get what I'm talking about. This is one hell of an energetic show from the band and the crowd is a band's wet dream, very cool. You can feel Jacoby's appreciation for the crowd.
This is something many bands have trouble to do. I totally get you. They're smart guys, I feel with the years that go by, they find a way to introduce the current genre into their style and find a way to stat relevant and new
Actually they've been rockin' since 1993.
Christ… these guys’ energy will never die. How can they sound so good and put on such an insane show after all this time!?
Always.
Cocaine 😊
They're good. If you're 15. Watered down radio rock for edgy teens. Try listening to some actual heavy metal once in a while.
@@adriantrusca1245 To be fair, I WAS 15 when Infest came out. Granted, I was a lanky timid teen as opposed to being an edgy one, but I dug them nonetheless, and I still do now. Is it a sign that my mental age is falling behind? Or is it some people who take their time to visit the comment section of bands they don't like to flex about their choice of music that needs growing up?
@@adriantrusca1245that is not the point. I have seen many live shows from most heavy bands and even this year. A lot of the great bands are performing a bit slobby and getting old. Rammstein still kills it. But Papa Roach just delivered this years best live performance and you gonna compare who has better songs. Tsk tsk.
I love papa roach, they’re madly underrated
They’re actually pretty huge
@@punkrocktony2065not as huge as they should be
Papa Roach are so underrated. These guys teach how to rock&roll and work a crowd. Every single one of them down there had a blast and this video just confirms it. Congrats to these veterans! Beautiful stuff!
Definitely not underrated
Ah yes, one of the biggest and most respected bands of all time is "underrated"
This is beyond greatness
They're taking again their live performance to a whole new level
This is Insane!

Papa Roach should make this a live album cause everything was perfect !!!
Much love to this comment
Damn Jacoby can command a stage like no one else! This band sounds just as good, if not better, that they did in the 2000’s. What an amazing performance!!!! I’m a forever fan!🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
hey dee gee wee gee
Not a big fan but this show was a incredible, so much energy, and the classic tunes brought me back to the good old days!
As a old guy now, I remember PR just getting famous, never liked them in particular, although I even then respected the band and their work. But seeing this after sooo many years, it just blows my mind that they're sounding so good, so energetic, so profesional, so understanding of the crowd and fans - this is next level. Utmost respect!
I didn’t think I liked them either until I took my sons to see them in 2006. If you don’t like papa roach after seeing them live you’re not a rocker. Not sure how many times I’ve seen them since, but never a bad show.
Dude puts on insane performances, he crowdsurfed while singing in Graspop lmao
Old guy mean?
@@Jonjonjonnoj I'm in my 50's now. OK, not sooo old, but I feel it :)
Tony is an amazing drummer! he just kill it!
The man can sing, rap, scream and work a crowd like no other? WOW!!!!!! The ultimate front man🤘🏿🔥🤘🏿🔥
Him and Chester were best buds. No bad thing.
Chesss wins. Mans not far off
Very underrated band that just keeps producing albums and hits. Never thought they would do so well or last long. Hope they have many more years left in them. They really know how to rock and sounded great at Hellfest.
Saw them live this year, 13 year old me was so fufilled! Really hoped they would be as amazing as i wished and they exceeded my expectations
😊
After more than 20 years i always love this great band. thx papa roach for your great music!
This band blow the roof off at every festival they play. Perfect mix of festival energy and nostalgia.
This makes me believe again in live music. The band, the crowd, the sound. Thank you all.
I wouldn't mind a second wave of early 2000's rock
The heart. The soul. The life. The passion.
What an absolute burner of performance! Such kind guys! Pure love and respect to Papa Roach!
I love how Hellfest records so many of their shows. Wish more festivals would do this.
Some of the best audio for a live concert performance! Love this set
I know right, the sound quality is insane
These guys are insane. I only knew Last Resort but still went to see them at a FREE concert in El Paso, TX a few months ago and it was utter madness. Crowd was crazier than most death metal I’ve been to.
Holy shit, I was never really a fan back in the day but man have these guys aged well. This set is so tight and an amazing energy throughout. Really did "Firestarter" justice as well. Not many frontmen of high octane bands from their time have stayed this good, vocals and stage presence 10/10
they get better and better, they sound stronger than ever, honest hard working band ,they are the soundtrack of my life.they deserve respect and jacoby is one of the best singers out there. only love for these guys
That was an absolute Banger of a concert. Holy shit. I grew up with their music but never seen them live. That energy
Don’t leave earth without experiencing a papa roach show
Saw them live three years ago. I will never forget that concert. Fu..ing amazing!
Never was a huge fan of Papa Roach, saw them acting in 2003 on their first show in Portugal and it was a bit boring I must say... 20 years later decide to watch this stream live from Helfest and what an amazing surprise... Singer's voice is the same ever and the energy and intensity they put on stage is simply crazy! What a show!
This was brilliant. I remember seeing Papa Roach like 20years ago wow their energy is still amazing. They sound awesome too!
They get better year by year ;)
🔥
When papa roach first came out he truly inspired us all to help mend our pain for all of us that came from broken home. Here we are at least 20 years later. Ty papa roach we love you
Wow, such a good Live Band! So much Energy after all These years! These Guys love what they do and Jacoby's voice is amazing. I'm listenig to them since Infest, so nice to see they are still rockin'
Thank you Hellfest, thank you Arte concerts and thank you Papa Roach, this was a fantastic concert 😊!!
So cool how arte mixed up the shows they are premiering. Anybody could goto this festival and have fun. All types of genres of rock and metal
I agree with you, so many gendres in four days,i am sure that all people had fun, great festival indeed 😃.
It always amazes me how P Roach reinvented themselves album to album. Jacoby is not just maintaining his vocal strenghth, he is getting a better singer every year. Just. Wow.
Hope to see em soon again :)
They should have a live cd from hellfest this is one of there best performances.
These ARTE Concert streams are amazing quality.
the guy on the keys/2nd guitar/backing vocals/backing drums is the unsung hero in this band. spot on performance!
He sounds so good, his voice lessons made his voice last and sounds even better. Impressive man
PAPA ROACH playlist will give you 5 more reps each set when working out! Love the energy!
I am not a big fan of PR, but I found this show very energetic and well played. Good energy!
Thumbs up for the sound engineer here! What a great sounding stream!
Oh! And the drums! Deep, fat sound and powerful strokes is the recipe to pump up the whole band!
As a big PR fan since I was a kid, it's so awesome to see them still slaying and controlling a crowd like this ❤
One of the best audio mix I heard. I hope all live performances are like this. Rock lover here
My fav thing about Papa Roach is their energy. I remember seeing them in a moderately sized venue in TX kinda in the middle of nowhere, but watching you would've thought that were playing MSG or something. Really respect the commitment to putting on a show even if its not "big" in terms of the location.
Man, those screams were on point. Love Papa Roach since i was 8 years old
Man I saw them live in 2005 or 2006, they were touring with Staind and they were the opening act. I was not a big fan of them back then, I was there for Staind which was the closing act, but holy! they won me over with that energy, he still maintains it and goes up to the crowd the same way he did back then. I really love this band!
These guys are the best live hard-rock band we have going right now, their concerts are so fun, and they bring it. GREAT band.
This is one of those bands that I feel that they sound better live. And massive props for the quality mix!
I knew maybe two songs from the band... This gig just came up, I watched it till the end for the first time. It's amazing, powerful... you can clearly see the musicians also enjoyed it. And I was absolutely surprised by the Prodigy and Cure covers✌️
What a great performance! I love Papa Roach since I was 16.
They have always had the energy in their live shows, glad to still see that alive and well still🤘🤘🤘
What???
Malade
I agree, great sound and video, papa Roach rules!
Cocaine 😂
Thank you Arte Concerte for this concert and others 🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥
I always liked Papa Roach. Seen them once in 2005. But they were never even close to being among my top 5 maybe not even top 10. I like quite a bunch of their songs. But I just can’t fathom how they perform with such passion and energy, still! Jacoby is on some next level energy drug we don’t know about. Definitely going to see them again if they come close to me.
P Roach, One of the GOATS of Real LIVE performances. Seen them three times and they've NEVER disapointed. Great vocals , musicianship and stage presence and the energy ...
These guys were so amazing live, i went to their concert last year and they were my favorite part of the concert, SO MUCH ENERGY, and amazing! Wow is all i can say!
Thanks Papa Roach for the little The Cure instrumental part & your message/support for Rock'n Roll and Heavy Metal music... 🤘🏻👍🏻☮️
that was great! i had goose bumps in front of the monitor and danced and laughed along. everyone had fun. awesome
It was so cool to hear the music from my youth of Papa Roach played and sung! thanks.
It make me soooo proud that my favourite band had the most views at ARTE Concerts . Thank you so much ARTE Concert for share the Hellfest 2023 !
This is a really good band im 23 years knowing this guys , allways sounding same as the records very good to see on live, greetings from argentina
Papa Roach put on such a great live performance, so much energy!
I'm so happy to see them gain the success they have. I knew them when they used to play at Cheers cocktail lounge in Vacaville. Love seeing how they have grown as musicians.
Holy shit Papa Roach is still alive with them live concerts. How do they still sound so good 20 years later
They always bring it and Jacoby is 110% every time live! He makes us all feel younger because he’s aging in reverse, I swear he has the energy of a 20 year old🙌
Incredible how they keep getting better and better with the years. I've seen them live 5 times and this show, but on Jera On Air was the best one!
Love the energy! Jacoby really working with technique as well
Absolutely insane Papa Roch blown Hellfest away 🔥🤘🏻🔥
What energy, sound, more relevant than ever!❤
Jacoby aged like a fine wine. Still absolutely kills it!! Whole band does!!
the amount of energy from the start is INSANE
How are they this good? Jacoby's live vocals are on another level. I don't even like the setlist, but I really wish I could've seen this show live. I'm from Germany, but if Rock am Ring is gonna suck as much as this year again I'm gonna see you next year, Hellfest!
This year Papa Roach at the Ring was amazing as well - they are really killing it with the full tour at the moment. Just getting better year after year imo :)
@@Lolliedieb I was there but I had too many beers at that point already to be able to say anything about the performance :D
It was definitely fun though. Just the overall lineup at Hellfest was quite a bit stronger
I came here as someone remarked in a comment that whatever you think of this band, the lead singer gives it his everything live. Couldn’t be more right. What energy! Pretty cool performance.. ill have to take another look at them
I saw these guys in Toronto at the Opera house when Last Resort was just barely taking off. It's a small venue but he was all over the place full send all show. They obviously did last resort...last. As the band started he drops to the floor and I was near the back so he just disappeared from my view. Suddenly there was this *thump thump thump* and he rises up with a crazy look in his eyes mic cord around his neck bashing the mic into his temple and then CUT MY LIFE INTO PIECES. One of my fav concert moments
Fucking happy to see them still banging hard, fan since the first album!!
....Since he/ they helped me through several sad and dark years in my youth with ✊"Last Resort"✊ and "Broken Home" I AM and WILL STAY a HUUGE FAN of THIS GUY❤, his Band, music and
❗OF COURSE❗
of his unique and timeless voice😍😊👌
✊ KEEP ROCKING IT❤✊
😂😂😂😂😂
I admittedly was NOT a Papa Roach fan back in the day. After watching this? I absolutely am.
Best concert ive ever seen was papa roach! They played for the soldiers in south korea and even though it was only a crowd of maybe 1000 they brought all the same energy. Will be in my memory forever
These guys really know their shit, awesome live performance way surpassing my expectations!
These guys have always had awesome energy! So sick to see them still doing it. This would be fun to go and see.
