Also never had problems with distance between stick and face buttons, I even found it to be perfect for some games since I could press buttons while using the stick.
Heard the nitro deck isnt compatible with oled. The plus works but that awkward analog placement when you dont play shooters. Also home button light is on all the time
The actual problem with the Nitro Deck (& Nitro Deck+) is that the face of the controllers are narrower at the bottom than the top, which reduces palm & thumb space which in turn causes even more thumb restriction than the official Nintendo Joycons.
If they allowed swappable adjustable grip pieces like Skull & Co, it could solve a lot of issues.
I've got my original Nitro deck, second-hand open never used I was surprised how much it rattles when it vibrates. I wonder why no one else reported this issue, it ruins the game experience for me and I switched to the FR-TEC controller which doesn't have this issue and the vibrations are consistent and strong even though Nitrodeck has better ergonomics...
I had really mixed feels of regular Nitro Deck, not the best ergonomics, gyro that doesn't work properly in Splatoon, awful position of back buttons making them too easy to press accidentally, but god does it has best sticks I ever tried, really nice feel when using them and going back to original JoyCons can be a pain after them.
Will probably not get this one because I don't like the new stick layout, but it's nice to see them slowly improving
It should have steam deck button layout.
I love my nitro deck + . I don't have any problems with my thumb reaching any of the face buttons. My only issue with it is the price. Also the usb c,port is at a weird spot and the same with the adapter. Too much extra for something as simple as playing docked or charging the device. I
Isn’t the original nitro deck buttons the same on the joy con sticks Iam not home to check
The regular nitrodeck is still great and the right stick is easy to reach for me
Mine has been draining its battery overnight while sitting has anyone else had this issue or found a fix?
