This Jonathan and Jordan looked more like actual brothers, big eyebrows, same hair color.

I respect that the original actor decided to take a step back to focus on his mental health issues.
This recast is great, I think he has transitioned into this role very well.
It's gonna take some getting used to, but so far this new actor seems great at playing Jonathan.

I do miss the original actor who plays Jonathan but Michael Bishop was a pretty damn good replacement
At least they got an actor who is similar enough to the original. I was having trouble at first telling if that was a new actor or the actor got a new haircut and worked out
I gotta say Michael Bishop has definitely found his way into this cast in the best way
Iâm listening to how Michael talks to Alex in this scene, and then Iâm imaging how Jordan would talk to Alex and they would likely have very different tones. But overall, Michael is very skilled
I just want Jonathon to get powers
idk if he ever gets powers as I don't read comics etc. but that would be a good way to introduce a new face

i like they always kept this relationship good, they never really made one jealous over the other at least not for very long.
2:14 I was kinda disappointed that Jordan returned his truck since even if he didn't need it to get around, Jordan still could've used it for other things, but I think it kinda makes sense for both balancing the story and practical reasons. Practically, Jordan can run and fly faster than the speed of sound, so it makes sense that he wouldn't need a truck since it'll just eat away at his money in order to do maintenance on it when he wouldn't really need it all too much in order to get around. Plus it helps balance things between the twins since now driving is something Jonathan can do, but Jordan can't. It gives something to Jonathan now and whenever Jordan can't use his powers to maintain his secret and he needs to get around, he'll need Jonathan's help instead of the other way around.
MASSIVE mixed feelings about it. LikeâŠI literally wrote a fic in which I had Jordan get his license, as well a) because Iâm sure he dreamed about driving long before getting powers and b) at the VERY least, to keep up appearances LIKE HIS DAD WHO ALSO DRIVES AND HAS HIS OWN TRUCKâŠ.but alsoâŠI do love that Jon FINALLY has this ONE THING to himself. For all the reasons you said.
Heâs so great, I was worried but he settled so easily into the family dynamic. I miss the original actor but I love Bishopâs style heâs brought to John. Really great work

My head canon is that Jonathan just started working out that's why his face has more weight to it. They should've threw some line about him working out and maybe actually made the actor gain muscle so the transition was more believable.
I actually love him. We only got a few scenes but I keep rewatching them.

I remember when I first saw the casting I thought that it was a little bit dumb because those two boys look nothing like brothers, and one looked significantly younger than the other. I really did like the guy who played John Kent on the show the first two seasons, and I have to admit that itâs a little weird, but the two boys on that show look like brothers at this point. Not sure if itâs a good thing or not.

I think his acting is wooden and seems forced. Hopefully he gets better later on in the series. I don't really like him but will give him a shot. The old Johnathan had a reckless innocent natural charm

They donât have a van. Jon did drive Clarkâs truck (2) two times, but those were emergencies; both times, Clark needed help, so it was necessary. Also Clark couldnât stop him either time, as well; the 1st was with JHI & the 2nd was when he was in shock at his Bizzaro outburst.

I'm sorry but what is everyone going on about in the comments that he's better than the original - I mean, no offense to the actor ofc but he's in no way, shape or form better than the original đđ he seems kinda ''toned down'' and calmer compared to him and his chemistry with the others is also not very good imo.. like the original absolutely killed it in every scene he had with Lois just like Jordan's actor does in every scene he has with Clark - I think it's kinda been unofficially established that Jordan is closer to Clark (I mean obviously because of the powers thing) and Jonathan is closer to Lois so that's why every Jonathan & Lois scene was amazing and full of feels, I'm not feeling it with this actor. He seems more like a distant cousin or something đ
He's only close to his looks but nothing more like he does not embody the original vibe of the character at all.. although on the other hand I don't want to be unfair because he literally just started and he also doesn't have a lot of acting experience from what I found out so I'm gonna give him time to settle in and like try to get in touch with the general setting of the show. Also, I think he does deserves a chance because he's already going in with a lot of expectations both from the creators and the audience so that must be hard for him! I'm still gonna miss the original actor like crazy tho but since he left for mental health reasons then ofc I respect that and I wish him the best đđ€

The first was a much better actor, especially the bizarro version. I almost stopped watching altogether because it ruins the immersion of the show when studios casually change actors, as if we don't notice it's a completely different person pretending to be the same peraon. I hope the original actor comea back.
