I shed a couple tears at her Retirement post 🥲🥲🥲. She will FOREVER remain a Legend at my beloved Man City 💙💙💙. We were awestruck to have her (and Rose), tbh, and she was truly amazing for us, and so likeable! 🙏🥰.
I’ve never taken to Kristie, but only because i really like Nikki!! But she’s growing on me and i’m booked to go and watch her play in March (West Ham v Chelsea so it’s as much to say goodbye 😭 to Emma - 2 birds in one stone 👏👏👏)❤️
so upset that, in 2024, we couldn't figure out how to fix sam's knee. devastated that she retired, so soon. but she will remain a true icon in soccer history. her legacy is secure. wish her all/only good things going forward.

Kristie was fantastic for West Ham. Instant impact as soon as she came on and the whole game changed. Would have been better to have her sub in at half time maybe they would have had a chance to win. Hopefully Reanne will start her in the next game.
I loved too how even though Sam was at the West Ham game and being the first time she has been in public since ACL surgery, the focus stayed on Kristie making her debut.
Sam Mewis will do a fabulous job with her new podcast. Maybe her future sister-in-law will ask her to come and help her out with her football academy in Australia. Kristie and Mini made fantastic debuts.
OH that would be awesome!!! Sammy being a perth girl too for a while would be awesome! And Yes Mini killed it! West ham is so lucky to have her!

I know this is a video about Sam but I think Christen and Tobin will announce the same soon. Unless I have missed that one. Their recurring injuries have sidelined them for a long time and they seem settled in their current ventures.

It's seemed Kristie's talent immediately stuck out on that squad during that match. She's too good for them, no offense to West Ham, but I can see if she stays in the UK longterm, one of the more successful or mid tier squads scooping her up. Her caliber is too high for them.

Noooo Sam 😭 one of my fav players and she's a local player, wish she could have finished her career in Boston in 2 years. Expected but still sad. Excited to see her in her new gig though (and I should really listen to the podcast)

One of my cats, years back, had surgery to fix a knee. It seemed like he was hit by a car. Afterwards, there was a banging downstairs and I ran down to confront a burglar. It was my cat, who had got off the towels and managed to get to the litter tray, but could not get the pot leg in. I held him in it and then he cuddled me for so long, clearly grateful.
I hope you find a cat so loving.

True. The knees are unfortunately one of the most important, yet weakest structures in the human body. Everyone who ever does anything remotely athletic is at risk, not just professional athletes.
yeah that makes sense. More pressure on the body. Esp with Soccer with so much running.
