I think they were talking about SB19's music before "What?" and "Mapa". They are saying that SB19's music lately sounds just like their own, and that they now know what kind of music to produce. Instead of catering to popular mainstream.

Our parents teachings and advices became the guide towards our journey in life and that no matter where life brings us in the future we won't get lost because we have the MAP ( parents) that serves as our guide (parents teachings and advices) in life.
The wordings of the song has a deep meaning. It's very emotional and heartfelt because the message itself is relatable to everyone. One way or the other we all have parents or have at least a parent figure in our lives. This song inspires us to at least appreciate our parents hardwork and sacrifices in raising us and be where we are right now. In return, we want them to take a rest now and we will be the one to take care of them now that we are able and grown up already.

They‘re better now because they have more creative freedom with their their work and they‘re killing it. They introduced their „New Era“ at the start of 2021 with their own music and own creative direction and so far they have not disappointed and have been producing their best works yet.

You're right. Their first album was mostly produced by Korean producers although they did have some inputs. They did mention that for this release they are re-introducing themselves and that they have more creative control for their upcoming release.
