I learned so much since coming across your account and I recommended your channel to all my friends :) We flew to Milan back in December, we booked economy and paid $$, but on the return flight we upgraded to business class for 37k per person (family of 4) and experienced their lounge and the cutting age premium cabin on the A380. Can't wait to do it again and try out Qatar next :) Keep them coming, your way of explaining is everything, really comprehensive and detailed. Can't wait to see your channel grow.

I'd take that 102k First Class flight! But a caution with the business class from Mexico City to BCN... that one is on the 777. Also it has no first class, it's all business with the 2-3-2 configuration.

Great video Max! We're looking forward to flying the A380 5th Freedom Route before it goes away. Super weird that the 777 doesn't offer direct aisle access for J class?!
I do want to mention that if you're traveling to Dubai from Newark to transfer to Athens from my personal experience since I travel to Greece every summer is that Emirates deploys the Boeing 777-300 not the other model with the bar room
Great video Max! These are so helpful to people who haven’t used points before. Since United is now partners with Emirates, could we use United’s award calendar? Also, does booking business on Emirates give you access to their lounges and private boarding or is that only in certain locations?
Flying business class on the A380 was a great experience I gotta do first class at some point
I wasn’t impressed with the service probably because I was on a 3 hour flight so didn’t get the full experience, but loved the bar though! I gotta try first class next as well
Try to book the A380 when possible and not the 777. Also, booking through Aeroplan from SFO to DXB can be another option as you'll most likely get A380.

@@sholysholy2239 you'll have a passenger beside you even if you choose a window seat on the 777 and there's no bar on the upper deck. That's unique to the A380. Also there is no upper deck on the 777.
Max, love your videos and really have learned a lot. You may have answered this question before but when you use miles to travel, do you also get miles for the trip?

unfortunately, every time I try to sign up for/purchase the Pro, it says 'card declined', so are they scamming just for us to keep putting our credit card info in and using our info for fraudulent activity??? This is a credit card I use to make purchases every day with no problem. @@MaxMilesPoints

Unfortunately no, aeroplan dynamically prices Emirates now so it can vary quite a bit. It’s worth checking emirates vs aeroplan rates but 99% of the time Air Canada will charge more in points than Emirates

Scotiabank Scene+ points don't transfer to airline partners. Aeroplan allows booking on Emirates flights though (at a dynamic price).

Chase points transfers directly to emirates. Log into your Chase account and then link your Emirates account and initiate the transfer on the Chase page
Do you know if it's possible to transfer my wifes amex points and my amex points to the same Emirates account to combine points for travel?
If your wife is an authorized user on your Amex card, then yes, you can transfer your wife's Amex points into your account.
What’s the best redemption option to get to Nigeria??
Probably connect through Addis (ADD) I see a bunch of business class availability on Ethiopian and not just from the states. LHR, CDG, FRA etc to ADD in business. I have found ATL, ORD and IAD to ADD as well.

Sometimes it is, most of the time it is not
Was literally just looking at flying on Emirates in first. Going to London and saw that my dates had Emirates First availability from London to Dubai to LAX. Aeroplan wants 450k+ points though, so I'm looking to do that same redemption using Emirates miles but the availability doesnt show for some reason
Probably just need to break up the itineraries. If you're going in First then check-in and baggage handling shouldn't even be an issue as they'll probably just forward everything to the LAX flight without you having to check-in twice.
Try searching as multi city on emirates website sometimes that works for connecting flights

If you're flying to Dubai, which is why you don't use Emirates award space to fly to Dubai.

@@SiDPT15 just offended people think luxury cards have any effect on airline business practices that affect all of their airline passengers. I'm not offended at all, just wondering how stupid someone is to complain about something they'll clearly never do if the value isn't there and there are probably better alternatives. It's like complaining the clouds are currently white, when you want them to be gray. Why even bother, but I know I'm much more pragmatic than most.
