Ngl but i saw jack squat in the pictures... Used to watch top 5 a ton like 3+ years ago. It was the go to page for weird interesting stories. Now the narrator barely sounds like he even cares and now at the end hes like peace ya'll see you laterz... Recalled he seemed more "into" it a couple of years ago... Imo.

Wimp! There’s no such thing as haunted items! The theme of the object can be unnerving due to the intent of the one creating it. Beyond that, no, there’s no otherworldly mystery.

7:01 It's a speck of dust floating down the stairs (it's actually right in front of the lens). ALL of these "speck of dust-like apparitions" ARE actually... specks of dust!
If that is "the best piece of paranormal footage ever captured" then it's obvious why no evidence of the paranormal has ever been captured on film or video.

Speck of dust wouldn't set a motion detector off. Camera only came on because something moved in front of it and a speck of dust wouldn't do that.

7:40 the ghost in the hallway- man it reminds me of probably 10-15 years ago i was at a friends house. he lived in a culdesac (spelling lol) and we were outside probably smoking or something. all the sudden this thick white vapor/ smoke looking thing DESCENDS and just moves slowly along the street next to us. weirdest thing ive ever seen. it was not smoke from us. that smoke rises and disappears quickly. this was a thick white vapor. very weird

#1 is a log. You can see the similarities it has with other logs that are in the area. The ones that have fallen over had the same shape and are nearly as dark. Perhaps it is a tree stump that was poorly removed. Very grainy photo. The item in question seems to be at the very edge of the camera used to take this pictures ability.

8:33 If you slow the video down to half speed, you can clearly see the gentlemen just up and run into the wall. He could have maybe gotten a worker's comp claim out of it but decided to go for the exorcism option.

There is so many scary video compilation channels, its unfortunate that Top5s is becoming one of them. It would have been more interesting if they had gone in the other direction and described different ways the clips could have been faked. That would have helped Top5s stand out more and helped them stay close to their mystery solving roots.

At St Kenelm's Church near the Client Hills near Birmingham there is. Clootie Well which is worth a visit. I would imagine that there are many places in England and Wales that have something similar too and not just a Scotland, Ireland and the Isle of Man

I feel like this channel would do better to upload fewer, better-researched videos than videos coming out constantly with, frankly, unimpressive photos and videos presented. As others have noted before, this show used to be great (even with pronunciation errors). But now it just feels like the extent of research is "Some random person on the internet said this was scary? Slap it in a video!" regardless of whether or not there's actually anything noteworthy in the videos/pictures presented, let alone anything truly scary. I know this channel has already burned through a lot of ghost stories and legends and cryptids but surely there's better things out there to find if you give yourself time to research, instead of churning out "meh" videos all the time. I haven't actually finished a video on this channel in a while now because the first one or two presented tend to be underwhelming and, upon seeing the comments full of people saying there's nothing in any of the 5 things presented, I close the video.

The last one is complete bullshit! The footage is so unbalanced in its exposure that it blocks too many key areas of the security guard. As well, the footage seems to have been cut in certain areas and sped up in others. Giving the security guard very choppy and unnatural movement. The speed at which he falls into the wall/cabinets it’s sped up and has many frames removed within the moments of his initial stumble to when he first crashes into the wall/cabinets and then hitting the floor. The overexposure of the times when he’s on the floor, and again, with the sections cut out it’s easy to see that he’s taking far too many jerky, robotic like movements. With that he’s skipping across the floor in stages. Even if it was an operating at a lower frame rate, you’d see that running rate consistently. It would reduce the viewable movement, but again, that would be far more consistent than what appears in this video. It’s irrefutable that the footage is sped up, overexposed, cut and spliced.

This channel is slowly going to sh1t. Been a huge fan since like 2016. Even paid $10 a month for their Too Close To Home tier list and after 4 months of nothing I just cancelled. Hoping this channel makes a comeback one day otherwise I gotta unsubscribe and remember the good content that once was.
i don't believe in cursed items, but if its freaking out students to be around that painting during test time why not just take it down temporarily? stress is bad enough during test weeks, why add to it?
