In my humble opinion Steve Howe is THE MOST precise & accurate guitarist EVER. Nearly PERFECT.
What a brilliant performance!
All the power they went into to make such melodic tunes!
Absolute perfection. Saw them last month and they played Turn of the Century and it was still superb.
Thank you for posting this concert. This was my first, and best YES concert in Portland, Oregon at the Memorial Coliseum during this tour in ‘77. Donovan opened the show. A friend and fellow fan and I decided to go see them on the day of the show. Excellent seats 1/3 of the way up off the floor for $8.50 a ticket. All members were at the peak.
Bring back great memories. Loved this tour. Thanks for video
Thank you!
I love Alan. The man doesn't get much respect. R.I.P
everyone is 'Bill Bruford' and Bill is good, (im glad Bill went to KING CRIMSON)...
but Alan was on both my favourites....
TOPOGRAPHIC OCEANS and RELAYER....
GOING FOR THE ONE/TORMATO/DRAMA/90125....right up to the end....always a solid prog drummer....
My first ever big gig when I was 14! Very difficult to top after getting on for 50 years! Awesome job pulling the footage and shows what an incredible band they were. Awaken is a monster of a song which shows off everything about them - Wakeman's opening keyboards, Anderson's perfect vocals and the tension running up to the thunderous riff. Alan White came in with driving hi hat and bass drum that I will never forget. Then Chris Squire adding the bass line with a syncopated bass line that is almost impossible to track. Then there is Steve Howe with those fluid lines traversing the fretboard. Pure genius. White - Squire were undoubtedly one of the greatest and most inventive rhythm sections - sadly missed but to be celebrated forever.
Steve may have become disgruntled with the other members but man did he contribute. He's a beast. Probably the hardest working guitarist on any band.
I remember this show. I was so excited that Wakeman was back because I had only ever seen them with Moraz. It's hard to put into words just how much into Yes I was from 1975 to 1979. I think they were at their peak here, especially Howe. He is on fire in this video. Nice going back in time. 💜🧠🎶
This is a labor of love whomever put all this together.
It sure is, and it was I! 😁
wholeheartedly agree! I cannot stop listening....magically being transported back to a wonderful time! Thank you so much!
after almost 50 years this shit never old it brings me back cris looks so happy when he is playing his bass RIP brother
My first concert was Jethro Tull and the backup group was some unheard of band called YES.......holy moly.....the rest was history in the making.
Ja polubiłam Yes w 1974 roku i od tamtej pory nie przestałam ich kochać
Excellent work, as ever. Hugely appreciated. My first Yes concert was 28 October ‘77, so it’s magical to see this footage from the Going for the One tour so painstakingly assembled.
Thank you 😊
First time I saw Yes live was in ‘77. London, Wembley. Thanks for posting this… it’s brought back happy memories 😊
I was there... And after all the years, its STILL the finest concert I've ever witnessed.
IN fricking credble! You've done a masterful job! I was fortunate enough to see this tour in 3 cities and still my favorite tour.
Thank you very much!

Brilliant, THANK YOU.
My first shown Yes December 77 in paris
Simply Amazing! Thank you so much!
Thank you!
I was blessed to see Yes out doors in Raleigh NC in a 10 thousand seat amphitheater we had front row seats on the right side right in front of Chris he was so funny putting on a show almost by himself there were at least 10 great looking women who left glasses of wine almost at his feet and do u know he acknowledged each and everyone what a great guy miss u my friend 🍷🍷❤
Hard to believe this band were selling at stadiums and arenas in the 70s. When i discovered them in london in the late 80s they were forgotten. I had never heard any of their songs growing up and only discovered them because my friends mum had all their albums and the trippy covers interested me as I was a teenage trip head at the time.
Thanks for taking the time to update your previous excellent compilation😊. This is one grateful Yes fan. Also excited with what the Genesis Museum is doing with 8mm and looking forward to their next Yes release.
Thank you!
This is just great, thanks a lot. I saw this tour when I was 17 years old.
Saw them 1978 on their “in the round “ tour in atlanta ga usa

I saw that tour in Cincinnati.
Amazing video, thank you sir! Yes is SO on top of their game here: tight, yet flowing and creative. And the energy - so much energy!!
Thank you!
Oh, my, god ... This is killer work - maybe even tops the Tormato Tour edit. I downloaded the DVD file for the latter that you graciously shared and have been working on NR/black levels/color balancing between the hundreds of clips of that. This looks more consistent for black level but would love to have the file for this, too.
It's huge - 14.5 GB
WOW!! Amazing & incredible restoration!!
Thanks for all your effort, HED!!! 🙏 🕉
Thank you! and it's Hed, not Heb
Thank you so much for this updated version.
I'm transported once more; and it just feels so right to "get lost" in Yes once again.
No other band has ever done this to me; Pink Floyd a close second, but remains second always to Yes ❤
Thank you! 😊
Great !!
Worth time stamping 15:36
Thank you!!!
Thanks for the video sync!
Need more of Wakeman and his church organ. IMO that's the heart of this song. Not loud enough.
For me, Oakland Coliseum, 77
Me too!
Steve Howe at his Best?
Sounds like Bigsby from Trainspotting was in attendance causing a disturbance.
