somehow, the desert and jungle has crazy amount of life crystals,fossil armour,extractor for more loot.Annoying enemies.Sand storm:Sand elemental for more loot and challenge.The ores the biome gives you is also crazy. I give desert a B but it's a bit too small
@@hmmman2257 It depends on the person and their play style if difficulty is a good or bad thing. For my part, the difficulty Is a good thing the Braun of chutulu Is more fun to me than the Eater of worlds (personal opinion)
@Jooshi4 The worm scarf is more consistent but the brain of confusion is better if it procs its 1/6 chance(that's what the wiki says) of dodging somewhat often. Also the brain of confusion does help you do more damage when you dodge so I guess that is also a bonus.
If you do the math, brain of confusion actually does a similar reduction value anyways, plus it's actually just an offensive accessory in defense accessory clothing
I prefer corruption purely for the vibe and the fact you can get the armor set and burgers from the eaters, very helpful if you struggle on higher difficulties. Pretty easy to set up an afk farm, you can take it a step further and do some fishing while you wait for armor and burgers to drop.

The underground desert used to be a great place to loot early game. Now its often hard to find and way more difficult for some reason and the loot isnt even better, also they added the golfer there for some reason.

Re-Logic: "We put the best summoning weapon behind a one shot bullet hell... you think we care about your feelings?"
desert has bast statues and the magic conch in early-game, and has sandstorms for forbidden fragments in hardmode. plus the underground desert just has more unique and interesting theming than the underground tundra since it's full of different types of antlions rather than just a bunch of vaguely ice-themed enemies.
Usually upon entering Hardmode I find the hallow and spread it to my base. I like the forest, but the hallows still nice and I don’t need to dig tunnels everywhere to quarantine the evil biomes
Crimson loot is better, but corruption has less mobs and the mobs are weaker, post wof, corruption is better substantially, with the post plant weapon being crazy good Edit: this comes from a pre-1.4 crimson lover btw
The loot in the corruption is better imo. You get the worm scarf, offering 17% dmg reduction the dart rifle, which is better than the pistol, the chain guillotines, which offers more range than the fetid bagnahks, and the scourge, which is the best biome chest weapon hands down. The only thing that crimson has better is the flesh knuckles and life drain, which aren’t great in comparison to all the corruption has to offer
Vampiric blades is so good, definitly the best biome chest in the game, the damge and healing practically allow it to be great on melee and good on summoner (if you need quick healing as your summons are already there)
Underground desert is actually the first place i go to when starting a playthrough thanks to very useful accessories that speed up stuff, bast statue and the amount of gold you get from random bags and piles lying around. Give my boy desert some love, it deserves it
I remember back when Eerie was used as the theme for Corruption, Blood Moon, Meteor, Dungeon, and Underworld all at the same time. When they released a unique song for the Corruption, it was such a breath of fresh air, and Corruption theme is still one of my favorite tracks in Terraria
I'd say the Angler does give you extra quests to complete in post Moonlord gameplay and the Ocean music is S tier, so overall A to me (dont forget about bloody Nautilus and fishing loot)
Not always starting in the forest my first ever world I spawned in the snow and got spawn camped like 1000 times before building a space to stop enemies from getting in
The ocean is my favorite biome to chill in when I need to slow down, because the aesthetic there, I enjoy building cool sky based above it and I can fish
Just make sure to buy the critter catalogue from the Zoologist. Those EoL butterflies are suicidal. Had to fight (and die to) her three times in a row before I finally caved and bought the damn thing. They come out of nowhere and fly right into your attacks.

Desert ranking made me weep, it's super easy to explore if you're careful and scarab bombs are a complete must for me, with amber also being great. The loot is fine too, bast statues are nice and the magic conch is goated, among it just having hermes boots.
Also the pyramids, even though they're rare, sandstorm in a bottle still is the best double jump bottle and the flying carpet is amazing in pre-hardmode.
@@DVDdotnot to mention the sheer amount of loot you can get just by wandering around. As long as you're careful, it's a great source of money and ores, since so much of it is open. Just be careful once it hits hardmode. Been killed way too many times by the djinn. Alone, they're not too bad, but with small spaces and other enemies? They'll kill you with ease.

I prefer the Corruption because when i was younger the Crimson scared the hell out of me and after that i always chose corruption but i must say the corruption should have been placed lower i am a corruption fan but B seems to high for me.
Desert actually has good loot tho. Especially early and especially if you get a pyramid. Sandstorm in a bottle is the best bottle and flying carpet is amazing early game. Plus, the desert has the Bast statue which is essential for harder difficulties. The snow you can't even go in the water without moving super slow IN OR OUT of the water. Plus, forbidden armor is way cooler than frost armor, and you can get a lot of desert fossil and amber in the desert which can be super useful
I swear I've gotten 90% of my Life Crystals in the underground ice biome. I don't think they actually spawn more there, but it certainly feels like it.
Dessert is fire early game, you grab an extractinator and get your hands on a storm spear then mine dessert fossil to make the fossil armor and buy a bunch of grenades which is good enough to kill any pre hard mode boss
Underground, cavern, underworld the forgotten space, glowing mushroom, Shimmer, Moss, granite, marble and other mini and micro biome is forgotten by this guy
So i like both evils The worm scarf is goated as much as the brain of confusion I prefer the vile torn than the other evil magic weapon but i prefer the heart of panic than the star band The brain of cuthulu is easier but the eater of worm makes more sense since the destroyer of world is a mechanical eater of world And the desert biome as some of my favorite musics and i mostly enjoy every biome^^
