- JapanX is a huge map combined with different sections for car meets, street racing and drifting. Now that they released the full version I wanted to check out this project again. This is free to play if you have CarX, it is simply a mod, all the info is in their discord.

CarX dev team needs to hire these modders and release a full-fledged game for PC/Console. I’d pay $60 for that.
I hear the only reason that’s a bad idea is because modderz take the devs’ creations(aka the video games) and make them better. Take a modder an put them in the place of devs it would essentially be the same thing since they wouldn’t be able to express the creativity in which the can do in their own .
@@TheLifeOfQuaa When it comes to AAA games I would agree. But CarX is more of an indie game. It doesn’t feel like shareholders are taking the creativity away from the devs. But yeah modders can showcase new ideas and innovations (but they’ve had the ground work laid out for them, and that’s the hard part). Most dev teams could use more help. If they can afford to add a few extra hands to their payrole, I’d say these modders have proven their capabilities and dedication. Unite and conquer 💪🏼
@@TheLifeOfQuaa That depends on the management itself, they could simply do what Valve do, see good project, then help them out with publishing, like Counter Strike and Black Mesa.
It would make for damn good games, possibly even more appealing to customers since modders generally work off of ideas based on what the people actually want . I also think the games would potentially hit their ceiling relatively quicker being being there wouldn’t be as much room for improvement .
they just modded a map, i doubt they are able to create a whole new game from scratch.
3:00 I really love that gas station lol, also at 4:46, the touge is the Mt. Akagi Touge. AND AT 5:34, the touge is the a snow version of the Happogahara Touge. I SWEAR HOW IN THE WORLD DID THEY COMBINE SO MANY TOUGES IN THE MAP

I was hoping the CarX dev team would work on something like this, instead of trying to focus on multiple smaller games..
Right now carx technology has more people working and spltted them the other team will be working on carx street the other one will be working on carx 3 and it will have some big open area just like this on each maps

I just dont get why the CarX devs don't reach out to the community and hire these custom map makers to give us official new maps? These custom map guys do such a great job. Surely it takes out a bunch of leg work for the CarX devs? As a console pleb, im jealous lol

It's not the devs, stop saying and thinking devs make decisions. They don't, it's the higher ups at every company making car games that handicap everything.
@DeejayJeanP as far as im aware, the devs ARE the company. They're a small self owned company. While yes, there will still be bosses in the company, they are also still developers from my understanding and still work on the games themselves. So yes, they are somewhat to blame imo
Tell them hit me up. I got a proposal. I already have a decent game engine. And quite a few cars. With mod support as a possibility as well. Haven't worked out multiplayer but I've looked into it and I can include it given the time to add it in. Runs on unity just like CARX and asseto. Full wheel and custom controllers support.(shifters and handbrakes). Even have a VR implementation figured out. Just need a decent map to put it all together and more cars and body kits.
