Great footage. I spent 2 weeks in Iceland exploring by car. There is plenty in this video that I didn't see though. The glaciers look amazing and that valley cut into the earth by the two rivers was like it was from another planet. Well done Sir

I just returned from Iceland but couldn’t film due to stormy weather. Your video is awesome. Can you tell me where all you had to take permissions? Especially in glacier and Reykjavík?
Thank you :) I haven't took a permission. Just before each flight I asked them (person who responsible) to fly and they said yes. Just away from people.

After reading comments about why people down voted this video, I realized that the film maker was breaking some important rules, such as not flying near animals (horses), over crowds of people (geyser) etc. I guess an exemption could have been gotten for this, but it does not help drone pilots trying to abide by the rules. Unless you are a drone pilot you may not understand the rules in Iceland, or in general, that keeps people, property and places safe and in pristine condition. Just my thoughts. The footage is nice though, and I appreciate seeing different parts of Iceland as I am planning on getting there (with my drone and still camera) when the travel restrictions subside.
I was very new to drone video shooting when I made this video. I did not know about the rules. I took this shot a month after I got the drone. Back then, I could not think so precisely. Over time, I tried to shoot more legal videos. From time to time I followed these rules and tried to shoot it from a distance when I couldn't find a place that was not human. I don't think negative voting is because of these rules. When you watch the best drone videos, you will see that all kinds of shots are made when you take the necessary precautions (concert, match, documentary).
@@santanatolga Hey, I totally understand as i did this a little when I first got my drone. I think most people go through this stage. As long as one learns to respect the rules eventually.
