With multishot, you want to jump and aim down as previously mentioned, but most importantly, the tip of your hand should be touching the frame of your opponent. This allows all 5 shots to hit your target.
Honestly I think having a cooldown on animal forms would be the only nerf Druid needs I think you should always be able to turn back to a human but not chain together rat to bear or something.
I think short cooldowns would be good ya. Like they shouldn’t be able to rat human rat chicken human to chase through doors. Maybe like 10s on rat and chicken, 5s on bear and cat, so they can still fight fluidly but if they retreat it’s more of a commitment
@@stealthyturtles Could be reworded to "Transforming becomes instant cast. This ability has a 2 second cooldown" or something like that. Could still keep their jumping through doorways which is nice but couldn't spam it constantly.

For Druid animal forms, maybe implementing “wild shape charges” as a cooldown for shape shifting, so maybe they get 2 charges and is on a 8 second timer, so you can’t spam animal forms It would add some planning for the Druid, should they wild shape panther/chicken, then be stuck in chicken until wild shape is back just because they wanted to cover distance
Shotgun against Druid’s panther form is usually a one shot kill because the panther is so wide that you can sometimes hit all 5 arrows on them when they’re pushing in panther.

Additional damage is not affected by physical power. The difference between true and addi is that true will do exact 1 dmg per true, no matter where you hit, regardless of armor rating. Additional is affected by both armor rating and limb modifiers. Meaning that additional (in almost every case) is less reliable than true dmg. Theoretically, addi would be better if you were exclusively hitting hs's and they had less than 33% AR (not counting hs reduction from helmets or projectile reduction). True dmg is just a better stat to have for pvp.

Thelorr i love your videos and as a ranger main who has used a similar build this was a bit painful to watch. seeing u shotgun someone from so far away is just a waste. Your build should have more action speed and shotgun should be use as intended (point blank). You are relaying too much on the spear.
I feel like a better pairing of skills for a build like this would be quick fire and multishot. Even if you're out of arrows multishot will que up all necessary arrows from your arrow pool. Quick fire will let you achieve your highest possible DPS with Longbow, and if you're out of arrows and someone get's close just let multishot rip.
I'd counter and say that they can't out-dps you because they don't have any supporting perks. Just looking at base power bonuses does nothing because the fighter has 0 bow perks. Rangers will be putting more arrows down range at faster rate in addition to (if they are giga cracked) hitting 15% more on headshot damage and a 5% increased power bonus when using bows with a triple shot capacity on their skill at low cooldown in addition to another 8% power bonus when triggering Trueshot and no longer being affected by gravity, meaning shots can land easier. I dont see fighter out-DPSing a Ranger if we considered this and considered that every shot was a chest shot (just to even eliminate the 15% headshot damage.)
Whenever you KNOW A DRUID IS GUNNA FORM THROUGH THAT window spear poke at the window and wait for him to come through i promise at least try it you wont be sorry
The difference between a fighter and a ranger in damage is just 5 strength (In your video 6 because you picked elf), which if you're heavily investing in strength will not make that much difference because of the lower return value for high strength stats, and also the perks exclusive to ranger that makes using bow way better, fighters just seem to do more damage with bows because they can take more hits and thus stay in a "bowfight" for longer, but never will any other class be better at long range than a ranger. You also forget to mention that you have +5 agility, +3 dexterity and +10 resourcefulness compared to said fighter and that you have access to better skills while fighter is always stuck with sprint and second wind, well, it would be a dream if a fighter can do more than 100 damage with a strike on a geared player (unless of course, longsword parry).
100% agree. I always get ranger to demigod and fighter to exemplar so far every season. I don't think fighter should have access to the bow but I don't know how that would work when it comes to "weapon mastery". After hearing the dev Q&A though I don't think they have any intentions to re-work that any time soon =/
I still think they should make bows damage scale off of resourcefulness. Help the ranger stronger the fighters when it comes to base kit , and it’ll make resourcefulness actually useful.
druid is definitely op.. imo the instant transform talent either needs dramatically nerfed, or outright removed from the game. that would be a great start but it would probably need more after that loll
aye bro u need to shotgun at literal point blank range, like actual arrow tip touching the dudes chest, the arrow spread is too wide, if he's even a meter away the 2 side arrows dodge the guy and dont land Some people run survival bow, then longbow switch with shotgun, as their close range instead of spear
Im late but as a druid main, we could still use a nerf. Mainly to tree, especially in solos. You basically turn it into a 1v2. But the panther-chicken hop needs to be removed.
As far as the enitre fighter with bows go, I think the balance problem is deeper than that. The fact that ranged classes are faster than melee classes mean you need to either have speed buffs or ranged attacks, otherwise your entire kit is useless a good chunk of the time. Just see your previous videos where you kite melee people to death taking no hits at all. That's not to say that outplaying people that like requires no skill, but if the enemy can attack you, you can't attack them, and you can't close the distance, you can't do anything about it. Basically, I'm saying that one of the core problems about the game is that melee heavy classes should be faster, rather that slower.
10:45 i think bakstep instead of forceful shot is the play! its sick with the spear, its also sick for baiting out a melee hit to get the shotgun hit in, OR ger a free shot before the shotgun shot! Those Laced turnshoes with add and bonus movespeed on that druis are disgusting af

Really want to see you play bard, feel like having ranger and fighter experience would make you deadly. Basically have the best of bost kits + some debuffs
If u want to build dmg on the headpiece u want a dread hood, but since that shit is expensive. Golden scarf is 2 str and 3 positive movespeed at base and its 600g too
i like how as soon as some actually plays ranger they realise how not op they are. the ranger should be unbeatable at ranged. fighter should be good at everything. personally i think the headshot perk should get a buff or a perk that remove dmg drop off.
If so, we can pull it the other way, why do rangers get a perk where they do more damage in melee with a spear than fighters? The whole point of fighters is to hurt in melee, they don't hurt as much as any of the other classes, even a wizzard has more DPS with ignite than a fighter, fighters don't have the tools other classes have except their arsenal.
Crazy how people juice 😅cant complain since logically should go into dungeon geared best you can, just seems like a waste when vs players who know nothing 😆 (Opinion) kinda wish there was a gear score limited lobby 🤔 if it don't already do that
Been maining fighter since steam launch and I reluctantly agree that fighters should not be able to use a bow. Fighters being strong with a bow is just one of the many balance issues though and its not even as big an issue as other things
@45 i've been saying that shit for a year now.. why tf would anyone play ranger when you could play fighter or bard and have more success. Ranger is like rogue/wizard where full kits is fun, but if your not fully kitted you do peanut damage. When conditions are met, ranger is broken asf, but with everyone moving 310 MS and fighter/cleric/barb running pDR builds you can't do shit most times. The counters, wizard and caster lock are so gutted noone plays them so its always you vs your counters and not vs the classes you actually counter. I feel if ranger had access to ether utility or the ranged specific perks by default it'd be better, but i also feel alot of classes perks should be removed and given to the classes since 80% fo players all run the same 3/4perks and the same 2 abilties on every class, with some variation depending on the build your running. For rangers we gotta use the Spear perk and then nimble hands, quick reload and kineshia, ranged weapon mastery AND cross bow mastery all cannot be taken as there are 5 ranged base perks alone. You also have no options for utility: no trap mastery, no chase, no crippling shot and idk why anyone would ever, but you cant use the campfire mastery lol. Your forced into taking spear+chase by default, then the last 2 perks is playstyle oriented around if your gonna use traps heavily or not. I feel Rangers should have the crossbow perk by default and probably the dam trap mastery since witht he power of move speed, the only defense a ranger ever has is traps. If we want to take the utility options, trap mastery (if given only the crossbow mastery by default), crippling shot and campfire then we would have flexability to do so. As it stands now if you take the 2 ranged weapon dmg perks+kineshia and nimble hands (move and draw bow faster) thats all 4. You cant use the chase/trap mastery perks which are legit vital to being able to survive and even use the traps somewhat effciently, can't use a spear for melee finishing off at traps or close quarters, can't use traps, can't use chase AND your still missing 1/5 ranged specefic perks lol. Shooting someone in the legs to slow is great, except its only 1 second and the damage you lose by avoiding their head isn't shit compared to the space you could create from the MS penality, maybe if everyone in the game wasn't running 300+ MS in full plate armor it'd be a better perk but imo its useless. I'm a solo players, ranger is ass 80% of the matchups, but apprently ranger is broken asf in teams so we will never be able to shine in solos. Wizard and ranger become to OP in solos whenever buffed, i rmemeber previous patches and how naieve I was lmao
They can’t tho. Ranger perks means you will always out kite and out dps a fighter. Without a bow they are just worse barbarians. Metas too ranged rn would make the class even more painful than it already is
I think you're making a big mistake with STR + Longbow build. You don't need knockback. Multishot is your bread and butter if they get in close. Jump, push your hand into their body, look down just a smidge and one shot people. The action speed skill is way better with a high damage build like that and lets you melt people at a distance. With shotgun you don't care if they get close. The spear is a real debatable thing when you have shotgun ability too. You're better off with another perk that enhances your multishot/longbow. You could even argue you're making a mistake by not bringing an AWP when you have that much phys power stacked up.
when i was still maining ranger i would run high strength and ms longbow with multishot and quickshot and basically if i hit one of the quickshots and they dont have a shield even if its a 200 hp barb they were dead to the multishot
I’m confused as to why you shotgun then from a distance a lot when it’s strength comes from landing multiple arrows at once. Feels like you’re using only to skip the draw time. Maybe I’m wrong but it just feels like you outta use shotgun when your closer instead and just shoot normally when mid range. Take this with a grain of salt as I never play ranger.
This game's fun to me with squire gear, but I've always acknowledged how much easier it could be with gear. I always consider it until I watch a video with 8 minutes of marketplace talk. I'll stick to my under 25 gear score lobbies

Purple spear does more damage than spear of rot & it is way less expensive. Just buy the cheapest one, it’s prob 200-300 gold
Oh man you gotta shotgun when theyre wayyyy closer than that, if you hit all 5 arrows from like 2 feet theyre dead
80% spear 100% ranger build
idk what to tell you man 🤣 those scenarios required the spear haha
@@thelorrthe first kill i saw you do was perfect for the bow shotgun though.
The druid was in your trap and right next to you.
Are you sure the bard didn't just dismantle the trap before opening the big doors?
It looked broken to me, as you were jumping over it.
i think fighters bow usage is fine, the abilities ranger got will always make sure that u can out dps a fighter
Imagine warming up in hr lol, why does IM do this to us
that bonk wizard not using ignite/haste was so troll bruh
Hey, I tried this build, and i noticed that with % phys power spear/longbow works better, since you already have a high dmg with it.
Hey you should rock Golden Scarves, they’re about the same price as the straw hats. Totally worth it for move speed & stats
Someone hit me with this earlier today and I was shook haha. My Health bar got drained lol
Crazy how people juice 😅cant complain since logically should go into dungeon geared best you can, just seems like a waste when vs players who know nothing 😆 (Opinion) kinda wish there was a gear score limited lobby 🤔 if it don't already do that
I think you would like playing Druid - with all that spear gameplay 🤣
You can cancel your shot gun ability for an instant 5 arrow reload
Been maining fighter since steam launch and I reluctantly agree that fighters should not be able to use a bow. Fighters being strong with a bow is just one of the many balance issues though and its not even as big an issue as other things
As a wise man once said
"Just play a fighter with a bow, it's way better"
It is insane that fighter can out range dps a ranger .
I think it needs nerf fighter rather than buff ranger but idk
They can’t tho. Ranger perks means you will always out kite and out dps a fighter. Without a bow they are just worse barbarians. Metas too ranged rn would make the class even more painful than it already is
curious why you are using it so far away
ironic that the ranger is saying who needs nerfs
I think you're making a big mistake with STR + Longbow build. You don't need knockback. Multishot is your bread and butter if they get in close. Jump, push your hand into their body, look down just a smidge and one shot people. The action speed skill is way better with a high damage build like that and lets you melt people at a distance. With shotgun you don't care if they get close. The spear is a real debatable thing when you have shotgun ability too. You're better off with another perk that enhances your multishot/longbow.
You could even argue you're making a mistake by not bringing an AWP when you have that much phys power stacked up.
First like a shotgun can drink yeah
Yeah, what this guy said
Also you’re vastly underestimating the damage sacrifice of having spear and tracking vs 5%+15% headshot damage perks. Longbow headshots are pain. 😵
@@thordoo3047 spear is bis for ranger, trolling if you don't run it honestly
@@thelazyoz2061 If you hit enough headshots, it's moot. *Shrug* ill take the 15+% hs damage everyday.
when i was still maining ranger i would run high strength and ms longbow with multishot and quickshot and basically if i hit one of the quickshots and they dont have a shield even if its a 200 hp barb they were dead to the multishot
Do you like the ranger dex build, or the ranger strength build more?
I wish bards didn’t have range but crossbows as well
I’m confused as to why you shotgun then from a distance a lot when it’s strength comes from landing multiple arrows at once. Feels like you’re using only to skip the draw time. Maybe I’m wrong but it just feels like you outta use shotgun when your closer instead and just shoot normally when mid range. Take this with a grain of salt as I never play ranger.
Oh snap, been waiting for this. How many people are gonna get one shotted?
This game's fun to me with squire gear, but I've always acknowledged how much easier it could be with gear. I always consider it until I watch a video with 8 minutes of marketplace talk. I'll stick to my under 25 gear score lobbies
Imo as a ranger druids are so easy to kill idk why you say its a bad matchup, panthers are so squishy
I'm 100% sure you're better at this game than I am in every conceivable way but in case... you should put traps down where they rat-jump through doors. Instant death.
This build is better in duos and trios too
Ah yes, casually dumping thousands of gold into a build. We are all broke, man.
Druid is strong but their gear is the most expensive in the game.
Druid main here the class needs a few nerfs bad it’s a shame they really didn’t touch the bigger combat issues one tap bear plate armor move speed on cat
That being said I hope they also do some things to bring up the class in other ways easier to transform when closer to people a little bit of magic healing scaling and all those animal utility we were supposed to get panther wall jump and rat under doors not the tech way
Cat and bear form scaling needs a nerf for sure
