Do the upper shock mounts need to be welded on the inboard side? Thinking about converting to the coilovers on my 72 but dread lifting the body off. I did it a couple times 10 years ago and swore that was the last time.
Nice catch, you can use French locks or lock washers. Since this is our R&D car and we are in there more often than most, we run lock washers so we don't have to keep replacing the French locks.
What is the lower second set of bolt holes for in the shock mount area?

They do not. Outboard side and short side of the bracket only. You can weld them with the body on.
No shim plate with locking tabs on the half shaft blots?
