Except for the fact that the obviously bigger and stronger Will Smith couldn't take little old Chris Rock of his feet with a "solid bitch slap".
If that were real? Chris Rock would have hit the floor and there would be charges filed by Rock.

There is no room for physical and verbal assault especially on prime time television broadcasted world wide with hundreds of millions including children watching globally. Whether one is an Oscar winner or a popular celebrity, there must be rule of law and abidance. LAPD enforce the law and demonstrate that no one is above the law. Do not make all those punished for assault feel discriminated.
I have been a big fan of Will Smith and bought theater tickets to just about all of his movies. But, his conduct as if he owned the Dolby Theater and the Oscars Award night does not allow him to commit crime of assault on Chris Rock, in front of fellow attendees as well as world wide audience and to damage the hard and outstanding work of Academy productions.
He desecrated much more than himself, much, much larger. Will Smith, your violent behavior was far from being the "river of my people" - very far. No more double talks of loving people.
Will Smith, you can begin your journey of paying for the crime commited by formally apologizing to Chris Rock, the Academy and the public; second by a court date.

was totally despicable for assaulting him on the Oscar stage, simply
because he didn't like the corny and distasteful joke about his wife. If
it was a White comedian, do you honestly think Will Smith would have
gotten up on that stage and slapped him, especially with the entire
world watching? NO! He would have been escorted out! If it were a white
person who he slapped in the face, he would definitely be sued for
assault! Black on Black crime/assault it not acceptable, no matter how
famous the person may be. And then spewing those F-bombs in that
