I haven't played WoW in 11 years, but I will not miss a crendor top 10.
Kek same here have not played retail sins TBC... soo well 15+ years ago...
Crendors top 10 and platinum wows videos. I don't play anymore but I make sure to always watch those two
What the? No mention of the super hidden easter egg in World's End Tavern that only priests with a certain item can see? There is a ghost of Ricole Nichie standing next to Haris Pilton, that only priests can see if they have The Eye of Divinity equipped.
i was just about to comment that he missed the biggest thing in Worlds End?!?!
yeah ut that item has long since e removed from the game
I love Crendor's Pointless Top Tens so freaking much. I have to say, my favorite "Regular human tavern" has to be the Honor Hold Inn in the Outlands, and the reason why is because there's something so hilarious about the normalcy of it. If you forget where you logged out and you log back in, you could almost fool yourself into thinking you're in Elwynn forest with how normal everything looks. Then you walk outside and Hellfire Peninsula is just all around you. There's a Pit Lord's head on a stake in the town square. Perfection. Just a hilarious monument to normalcy in a strange world.
Dude I am in a bad mood these few days and this morning when I was eating I was wondering what to watch. And then I saw your upload and just thought "I want to watch this! Just light information delivered by a nice calm voice" and I did... and it was awesome. You have remained the test of time for me as a youtuber my friend.
Love the Booty Bay tavern. In classic I had my hearth set there on my rogue bc theres a rogue trainer upstairs and it was convenient for ZG buff
We love hanging out in our guild tavern in the hinterlands “aery peak”.Best place to get cherry grog 😎
Playing HC i found out about a tavern inside Dun Modr, it was so weird to see an almost empty dwarven tavern, there is only a friendly iron dwarf that sells stuff, it even has a portion of the underground part of the tavern where a couple of rooms should be, but it was only one main room, weird to say the least.
Cool! I love stuff like this, so I’ll go visit as soon as I can survive to get there 😃
@@unclvinny watch out, because all the iron dwarves outside the tavern are elites
Crendor, you’re the most obsessed person about the Caverns of Time I know, but…you’re not exalted with the Keepers of Time?! What gives!?
he'll get around to it eventually
When I think "The World's End", I always think of the Cornetto film. Edgar Wright was a genius storyteller. If you haven't seen the Cornetto trilogy, I highly recommend it! Starts with Shaun of the Dead.
Edit: Notorious and infamous pretty much mean the same thing, anyway. Lol
I recommend everyone to watch his series Spaced. Also, Scott Pilgrim vs. the world.
I probably think most of the inn from that World’s End arc of Sandman. Where it’s an in between wrolds? Which Outland kiiind of almost is. XD
Not only do I love the Cornetto trilogy. I've it on blu ray. everything that nick or simon touches is pure gold.
@@olewyrdd I loved that one with the alien too.
@@thejaymesbuckman Paul was a tribute to nerds everywhere. Ive that movie as well. :)
Crendor's "pointless" top 10s are the only top 10s worth watching. 😁
Hope this features a lot of the hidden ones added in BfA that are hidden underwater. Those were truly pointless, but cool. Kinda creepy, too.
Can't wait for pointless top 10 booze since Crendors on pirates and now taverns. It's all connected I tell you
It's the Sulfuron Slammer for me.
#9 is my #1 because I can revisit it any time as a monk and listen to that one guy who goes to the corner and starts singing, changing the in-game music.
Kinda surprised you haven't done Taverns yet, but now you have and it's great!
Huge notification before bed
I was going through BFA again not too long again, and yeah, they really love their taverns! So many good ones.
Fun fact I learned from my friends who work on the WoW team, Hopps, line, and Sinker is actually modeled after a bar they’ve been to in Orange County, CA.
i kept the inn in Dazar'alor for the entirety of BFA, all because of the HQ and Island Expeditions nearby
The Booty Bay tavern with the boat balcony (boatcony?) makes me think about a possible Pointless Top Ten: Balconies
I mean... It makes sense that that dwarf's father could also be his (half) brother... Clearly his mother slept with someone and birthed his half brother and then his half brother slept with his mother resulting in him being born... Interestingly this would mean that his grandfather would be is half-brother/father's father...
I did not guess what the #5 tavern was, wow.
0:22 I remember finding her just for her 22-slot "Gigantique" Bag. Must've been before Wrath added the 24-slot Portable Hole. That or I somehow didn't know it existed.
Bruuk's Corner in Ironforge is my favorite RP tavern. Bruuk Barleybeard looks like an old veteran who retired & opened a tavern with his maybe daughter or maybe young wife (idk) Edris Barleybeard. One human patron is at the bar, Tisa Martine, who looks like shes on her way to or from some kind of adventure. Love this place!
Thunderbrew Distillery is super nostalgic for me. Like you said, it's very cozy and full of life.
So glad to be alive at the same time as Crendor. The videos are so entertaining and I chuckle or cheer every time he says the number of each item on the list. You can usually gauge the level of silliness ahead based on how he says "Ten!".
Great video! I love the different taverns. Shame there's not much to do in the wow taverns.
Loved the Dwarf Fortress reference. It's actually a double reference. First to the AIs neverending ability to mine or construct themselves into a dead end and require rescue, but second to an early bug that made carp both aggressive and incredibly deadly.
Every time I'm in thousand needles I try to remember to go start a bar fight. Good times
i get drunk in real life and start random fights
Good video Crendor, keep up the good work.
What about a pointless top 10 ruins?
I do plan on doing that one!
Bro did not even know these existed. I love the little stuff they keep in WoW. Man i wish i had a pc back when all this started. I feel like i missed out on a piece of history.
Jay the Bard tavern made it Pog
Always love your vids!
my favorite inn in all of classic was the South Shore inn, hell that whole zone i loved being in on my pally
Loved the video
The fact that Lion's Pride Inn, Bizmo's Brawlpub, and Kelp Club didn't make it on the list is criminal. Shame 🔔.
The Thunderbrew tavern is still my favorite. Lots of nostalgia and good memories in this place
Thunderbrew Distillery is really so cozy. I might just have a thing for dwarven taverns, like the one in Loch Modan, Stoutlager Inn, because I just love it when I'm entering one.
9:10
When I clicked this video the first place I was thinking of was the Grim Guzzler. Nice to see that it made it on the list.
7:11 Least they're with the lodging, rather than the dining.
Love these videos:)
Good selection. I'd opt to change the Pandaria choice to the Halfhill Inn
There are no pointless Taverns when you’re a dwarf 🍻
3:43 "Roaring fires! Malt beer! Ripe meat, right off the bone!"
Praise crendor!
Another reason why the grim guzzler is great is that ETC comes to play there every so often :D
I love booty bay's inn it's just so unique and cool looking
How about a Pointless Top 10: "Things that exist in Classic that doesn't exist in Retail."
You mean like low level quests that could actually kill your character?
One inn I really liked was that one in WoD that was like a human style tavern but I think there were ghosts around it and it had it's own music... I believe its in Spires of Arak, it's an area full of ghosts on the west coast where you can loot the "Spooky Scythe" item I think... Admiral Taylor's Garrison I think? If not that then some other one I'm thinking of where the inn has it's own music that I thought was super cool... I believe there's also some treasure nearby which a ghostly dog helps you locate?
Edit: YEP! The Briny Barnacle... That's my favorite tavern I think... Literally a ghost party... Maybe we can get a pointless top 10 parties!
The Grim Guzzler got shorted a bit in this video. There are quests in the tavern and in Classic the Tauren Chieftans play at 8 - it's where they got their start! Always one of my favorite locations in Classic.
Nah. The Guzzler goes down the list because it has s lot of quests and other important factors. It's the pointless top 10 series after all
each Tavern in Vanilla has its own music unique track that plays in each. most know the Goldshire one but they all have them
The front part of a ship is called the bow, but it's pronounced like the gesture of deference (e.g. "bow to the king"), not like the weapon (e.g. "bow and arrow").
Honourable mention should go to the Horde Garrison tavern, there's a ton of small details around. The Horde Dalaran tavern is also quite cool.
Great!!!
There WAS an invasion thing in the Grim Guzzler. IDK if it was part of a special event or something, but I remember back in the early days every now and then... you know what I think it might have been part of a quest or a seasonal thing? It existed for sure, I was there.
top 10
" A place where you can drink good beer is a place where is no pointlessness of existence " - random Pandaren Monk 😎
I agree with the number one pick, but it occurs to me that you could do a pointless top ten taverns for years and barely scratch the surface, there are jut that many Taverns in WOW!
This is great 😂😂 gg
wowee a wild comment to help the algorithm!
Harris Pilton made me think of a idea did you know somone is next to her invisible? its a thing,.. then thought dude top 10 invisible npcs.. they are indeed pointless but kewl AF
Taverns are one of the most WoW things about WoW, in my opinion. The music, the aesthetic. Screw player housing, you should be able to open your own tavern! :D
3:25 could easily be that father and his brother have the same name, happens a lot irl too
Nice
There's also a very small place called the Tavern of Time in the Caverns of Time if you just walk down the tunnel instead of riding a drake down. It's a single room without much going on, doesn't even have an innkeeper, but I thought it was a fun little joke. One thing I've always been disappointed by is the apparent lack of a real tavern in Uldum, the pseudo-Egyptian aesthetic of the tol'vir would make for a super cool and unique tavern I think! I also like the pre-Cataclysm orc taverns. The inns in the Crossroads or Razor Hill for example, with the little stone nooks in the walls for sleeping in, I always thought were kinda cute and cozy, as well as the ones like in Stonard in the Swamp of Sorrows. Post-Cata orc inns are still cool, like in Orgrimmar or Dragonmaw Port. I also like the draenei inns in Outland, and Bilgewater Harbor doesn't have much of a tavern but it has an outdoor restaurant!
I've always liked the Alliance Dalaran tavern (A Hero's Welcome) mostly because of how many times I've hearthed there in WotLk and Legion. I like how it is integrated with the Greyfang Enclave Portal room and badge vendors, and it also has a picnic area in the back!
The jar looks like Crensloth.
He’s a great rat, for sure
Many of these bars were made in the time where they couldn't make complicated scripts so they lack tavern atmosphere
Who doesn't want to start a bar fight with Goblins right ? 😂
classic
world's end tvern is the ref to Douglas Adams' novel mate
ive spent multiple hours of my life watching these. time i will never get back. and im ok this this
12:20 Those electronic grills are for the mosquitoes.
Comfy taverns
Mrgl's Bar and Gill is also very notorious
#9 I think Blizzard devs probably just forgot to do that xD
Top 10 ships next?
Ye boy
Ah Karanos and the thunder brew distillery. I was eRP'ing in the basement bedroom with my GF when a Horde raid rolled through. It was quite distracting.
Lowkey disappointed that Mrgl’s Bar and Grill isn’t up here…. Underwater tavern with all Murlocs in Nazjatar is pretty sick
The exploding stove in BB has its stovepipe going in to the auctioneer ... Maybe they have stove its connected to
Pointless places are the best things in Warcraft. Having a 'pointless' area means that it was designed as a place in the world rather than a hub that's only there for quests.
there should be more things to do in the tavern, they need to add mini version of hearthstone to be played at the taverns like they had planned
Borealis tavern best 10/10 coziest
Lol the bow of the ship....cmon crendor! You've heard the word used before.
Mists of Pandaria Inn Music (Kazoo Part)
Are they cooking soup... or stew?
Slaughtered Lamb best bar in stormwind! Just a shame about all the yelling and screaming coming from the basement…
Mamma Mia!
HEY HE'S BAAAACK! lets gooooooo!
woooooo! dwarf fortress! yeeeeaaa!
Notorious is a synonym for infamous though... What do you think it means?
hello crendor how's it going it's me random commenter and welcome back to another comment to a pointless top ten
honestly? thunderbrew destillery is like THE wow inn
wth, the shattrath tavern was only 10 when it had so much going on? robbed!
What a great pointless top ten
anyone ive ever talked to said its kinda pointless to grind out Keepers of Time rep
Just letting you know the bow of a ship is pronounced like bow to a king not an archers bow. The more you know lol
How about top 10 most depressing jobs in the Warcraft universe?
The front of a boat is the bow, pronounced "bao", the same as "at the end of a play, the actors take a bow".
