German here. My recommendations for everyone coming to Germany. Don't expect Germans to react like people from your country - they react differently, it doesn't mean they are rude or unfriendly. Only very few are really rude, most are honest and don't like small talk. But I guess at least 20% are helpful and genuinely friendly. So don't give up if you don't get the help you expect from 3 people in a row. You can be pretty clear and honest. I don't think anyone will get mad if you just ask where to buy basic necessities, what/where he/she recommends to eat, or where to go out at night. You should start and lead the conversation. When I'm hiking and meet strangers, I try to make brief eye contact, put on a small smile, and say "Hallo". I would say 80% have the same reaction. If I don't start, maybe less than 5% start on their own. To me, some Germans (perhaps less than 10%) just seem to wait for someone to say more than "hallo". Last time I asked a quick question about his very special shoes and he told me about his whole life... So again: don't give up. Best whishes. Learning german surely helps.
I totally agree.. apart from some incidents the most Germans I met are really very kind and if they consider you as a friend they really care for you.. I always wish the people on road and most of them wish back with a smile only some of them would give a stange look but that's fine.. when I landed in Germany in Frankfurt for the first time I was coming in train from Frankfurt to Leipzig and I started a conversation with an old guy I started speaking in German and he really told me all his life story.. in the new years I wished a person on road and he invited me to his place.. and one of my best friends is a German who is my classmate.. so I really didn't understand why people generalise that germans are rude.. after 2 years in Germany I faced some racism only by some people but I got a lot of respect and care by others which actually overshadowed those incident 🙂
I live abroad. I have been to Europe a few times as a tourist. Some people have helped me when I asked for directions but not all of them. In France, some said that they do not speak English. French are quite arrogant. I have experienced this even when I took Air France flight to India. The flight attendants and air hostesses are not very nice. The flight at Paris was delayed by 6 hours and so when I got on the flight I was very tired. I choked on some food and although the flight attendant was standing besides me, he did not help me. He totally ignored me. I would have died if the British guy sitting next to me had not helped.

Hi ma'am i have a ques..why should we apply for the education loan even efore getting the offer letter from uni?? And secondly what if we took the loan but didnt got the offer letter??
Hey, as I said in the video you can only apply for the loan and not get the amount disbursed. The actual loan process starts when you get it disbursed in your account. Applying before getting admit saves a lot of time and you can take an early Visa appointment after getting admit. Like you don't have to wait till your loan gets sanctioned.

that's new to me that you can find easily jobs without speaking German at all
And I am surprised you could do the bureaucracy stuff without German
knowing German bureaucracy, it might seem surprising... but she obviously isn't the first foreign student here, many thousand others have gone through the same bureaucracy before.
Also, millions of refugees from Ukraine, Syria, Iran, Afghanistan and many other countries arrived in Germany in the last 10 years, without learning German before. So, obviously it is possible somehow.
She didn't really say in the video if she did all the bureaucracy alone, or if she had support from a German speaking person. I mean, as she is a student at a university which apparently offers study programs in English language, without any German language requirements, she might have perhaps had some support with dealing with the German bureaucracy.
also, she has another advantage, compared to most refugees: She can communicate well in English. I'm sure that most clerks in city administration, in other offices, in banks, etc. at least understand and speak some English.
And concerning the jobs: This certainly depends on the type of job. For some jobs it's important to be able to speak with customers in German - and for some other jobs it's not needed.
What about PhD in Germany. after MSc from India.😅 ? From iiser ( Indian institute of science education and research ).

Yeah true! Work experience definitely helps in finding internships, thesis and even jobs 😊 Here they give importance to the practical experience a lot.
