“…the truth. Whatever that is.” Is such an insanely truthfully dark statement.
Especially in today’s world
Most definitely
Yeah, that line stings hard. Scary accurate.
Even though I shouldn't, I have to admire her performance skills in the court room and her fearless strategic mindset.
Remember, no matter how angry you are on the stand, never answer "Would you lie...?" with "Yes!" You have the right to refuse to answer because of the 5th Amendment. Now she could be looking at a perjury charge.
blind rage can make you do lots of dumb things.
Refusing is pretty much a guarantee in the eyes of those listening. If you're going to admit you'd lie by saying "yes" you're better off lying or saying something along the lines of "never about something so serious".
And the previous commenter has it right when it comes to different people coping with different pressure.
In order to prove perjury; you have to prove, which aspect of the testimony, was the actual lie.
Remember; that a married woman is considered 1 with her husband.
In order to validate the perjury accusation; they’d have to compel her to testify against her interests, which are the same as his interests.
Indirectly violating his 5th Amendment rights.
"but i corrected myself and told the truth, whatever that is"
you also admited to fabricating your testimony in front of 3 lawyers, all of whom have a duty to disclose it to the judge
And her own lawyer is looking at her like she is JUST realizing what kind of monster the wife is...
She didn’t admit anything, she said “whatever that is”, we know one of the two statements is false, but a prosecutor had to say and prove what the false statement is. He can’t just say “they both can’t be true”
@RLucas3000 too long didn't read
We'll just keep using our eyes and ears, have a nice day and stay in school, ya clearly need it
@@mrroboshadowsays the guy who couldn’t read a comment that was 2-3 sentences because it was “too long.” Maybe you should join him at school. You can take that extra reading class you clearly skipped…
He was found not guilty and he left the courtroom hand in hand with his wife.
if i was the jury i’d be confused too😂🤣
Psssh. You were confused by times tables in the third grade. All three years.
Psssh.
Why does she want to stay married to this man? It's pretty obvious that she has been psychologically destroyed by his behavior. But honestly, she's just way more attractive than he is. She deserves better.
money and power that is the basis for most of these so called marriages
Money
You answered your own question. She was psychologically destroyed by him. It's understandable she might act irrational because of it.
Suspect it's the same reason Hillary didn't dump Bill.
@@jsas2047 Watch the video again, she was the one in control.
That actor that played the wife was great!
This is based on "Witness for the Prosecution," a play (later made into a great film) by Agatha Christie. I highly recommend it, even with this spoiler.
Mrs. Blanchard is a bigger monster than her husband! Imagine that. Charles Blanchard killed his own son, yet his wife turns out to be worse than he is.
yes!! a true psychopath.
uhhh he still killed a helpless person. She's just a terrible person, I mean really terrible...but not the actual murderer.
Ummm, she may be a sociopath, but he's still a child murderer. He obviously way worse. All she did was lie to protect him.
Hmmm whats worse? Lying or killing your own hepless child🤔 nah murder ain't that bad but lying?! Thats unforgivable! Yall are ridiculous lol
How?
Khrystyne Haje! She's always been a solid actor.
and so beautiful
She's so good in this episode that it's kinda scary.
I thought it was her! She was my fave after Howard Hesseman in Head of the Class, when I was a kid. :)
That actress was really good. Bone-chilling good.
The hell with that the wife is good she really in control she completely change like three times in one scene wow she good
Why isn't all of Law and Order on streaming.
Why aren't entire episodes on CZcams??☹
(Yes, I know why..)
Try peacock
They don’t deserve it.
@@djjxxnjd7023 they only have seasons 13-20.
@@dorothygillespie4466Because it’s the only thing keeping a couple of AMC networks on the air.
i love it when the bad guy wins in these law and order episodes
All the guest actors in law & order all episodes gave excellent performance.
She's so cool
So they ripped off Agatha Christie’s “Witness for the Prosecution?”
"...between HIM and..."
It was the beef injection😂
Nope. Money
I plead no contest!!! You have a 5th saying!! Remember this the next time you get into trouble with the law!!!!
That testamony would hsve been stricken after her goinf back and forth, she would have been found guilty of perjury and contempt of court, and gone to jail 😅
it's a perjury she might be prosecuted for that
They have to prove which statement is false. They alibi each other for him being home. If they try for the him not being home statement, she can say she had a momentary lapse after being badgered but corrected herself and told the truth so that Justice was done. No jury would convince on that, and the prosecutor wouldn’t bring it any way as he knows deep down it’s true.
# 264!!!

Is it just me or does Actress Khrystyne Haje resembles the late Actress Virginia Verstoff from '1776'
What just happened? Because I am confused.
@artofcreation_photos Thank you for explaining.
The camera footage was way too shaky from 2:30 - 2:51. Gave me a headache. I was focusing more on that then the actual scene.
I did that. 😮
Just to bust your balls.
So.. who killed the boy
women love serial anything from killers to cheaters to coco puffs. how ever blondie is mad she got out played lawyers are always in thier feelings
