It’s so amazing how this works for Jez as a character, imitating the stereotypical lawyer in a big courtroom scene. He thinks he is genuinely the centre of the universe when he’s on a roll , but doesn’t necessarily have enough talent in any area to ever actually become any of the characters he sees himself as. Jury service gave him a completely unique opportunity to play a character and he not only leaps at it but milks it and exaggerates it as much as he can to feel special , fucking phenomenal scene

After re-watching Peep Show for countless times, I am starting to worry about the fact that sometimes I am thinking in Jeremy's inner voice to justify some stupid shit I have done or about to do. There is something emancipating in the idea that you can just say words to get some shit done in a way you want it, without actually believing in anything you've just said.

The closest we ever got to a Peep Show and Inbetweeners crossover episode
Why didn't she turn up at Marks flat in a later series demanding vengeance? Jez screwed her and then was part of a jury who convicted unanimously...so she knew he went along with it...: could have been an awesome sub-plot. Jez could have been beaten up and Mark could have been in charge of his morphine.
rafer Jefferson iii if she wasn’t in jail that would probably work, plus I think it was just a majority jury ruling rather than unanimous, so for all she knew he could’ve gone for not guilty
