Thank you very much for pointing out the different name of strawberry chiclid/dragon blood peacock chiclid. Appreciate much sharing your knowledge the different hue and characteristics of this fish.
They're so beautiful. The Dragon blood has awesome iridescence. I love it.💚🐠💚

I've been buying all my cichlids from Imperial tropicals. They have excellent fish and customer service!
Imperial tropical is top notch!! Love them! Thanks for watching 🤙🏻 really old video, I can’t even stand to watch myself in these throwbacks 😂
Unconventional Aquatics what size is your tank? Nice fish
Great stuff guys my question is can you add the Red Peacock with a few other Cichlids. I have a Yellow Lab and Electric Blue Acara and Convict. Hoping they could possibly get along. Lol I might be way off.
Very beautiful fish. I have one along with 2 stunning eureka reds. My original sunshine peacock wasn't havin it with the new dragonblood but I simply exchanged sunshine for another and problem solved. I have pretty much perfect harmony in tank with 20 african cichlids in 125 tank and very happy. Once I saw how beautiful that dragonblood was, It was never comin out of my tank
Hi Jorge and Anthony!! excellent video.. stunning tank and outstanding fish!! =D ♥♥
DebTim A CANADIAN Girl Thanks Deb 👍
What lighting u use for that tank?
Just made my first 2 videos
These hybrids are variable, the genetics are highly variable. These are not fixed lines, these are designer hybrids. People have to realize this and be very wary.
I was at PetCo yesterday and they had juvenile "Red Peacock cichlids" for $25 each. They look exactly like the Jacobfreibergi I have at home that I bought from PetSmart for $6.99. At, 00:53, you'll see at the bottom middle of video is what I have and what PetCo had. I'm absolutely sure they are Jacobs. I told them that they might have the label wrong and that they were Jacobfreibergi but they insisted that they are "Red Peacocks" and that PetSmart probably had the one that I brought in the wrong tank. PetCo has really high prices on they're cichlids with blanket labels, like "Red Peacock cichlids" could cover any variety. Now I'm left not knowing what exactly my fish is. Is it a hybrid of a Jacob? How do I find out?
Nothing to do with 'are you getting what you paid for" why not call it dragon blood peacock, very misleading
First fish looks like a red devil
Sure does
