- this one was a doozy to edit. did not realized i had filmed this much but hope you guys enjoy this. it was a real fun project to work on, and super simple to love. if anyone ends up picking up a similar intake, now you know what to do with no hardware!

Normally for the small filter, since you don't have the original one, you don't need to put the small filter. the small pipe that you put in it, you have to fix it neer the fixing of the filter. you have it between your finger at 0.40. (the little bit of attachment)
What was the thread pattern of that bolt you bought for the tube?
Does the fact that the pipe to the turbo gets so hot affect the air running through it being hotter than the OEM?
What kind of bolt did you use to mount the tube to the block. The one you used all the spacers for?
Doesn’t the car come with the part that attached to the stock air box? That would connect to the secondary air injector
only GTIs have the SAI. R does not
With CTS intake and inlet do u need a tune?
No u don’t NEED a tune, but once u get tuned it’ll perform a little better

Actually Thats a hot air intake
that’s not a problem if you have the proper cooling components. your intercooler and post cooling components are far more important if you’re looking to lower IATs. make sure to grab a good one for your car!
