the cows also have varied colours!! there are blondes, whites, silvers, dun coloured, and brindles!! they are so beautiful!! some even have red or dark blonde fur with highlights!!

Deers and cows have the same behavior of leaving the calf to hide somewhere far while the mother feeds to replenish.

If I ever needed to find a 'happy place', I would imagine I'm a Highland calf hiding in the tall grass of the Scottish mountains. No predators, no real reason to be there... But it doesn't matter. It's safe and it's pleasant and nobody is going to bother you and that's all that counts.

not like some Countries cattle they actually get to eat grass all year long , who would have thought that they really can do that. Scottish farmers still believe in feeding their cattle grass, must be something to do with the schooling that the Scots are taught.
