Almost all of these "teachers" seem so mentally unhinged that it amazes me how they even got through the hiring process.
Because they're a protected minority and the regular teachers are quitting because they go too much pressure and parents won't parent, so they end up with disrespectful, immature children that can't follow simple instructions. And it's not children's fault(most of the time), many adults end up failing children or otherwise leave them to fend for themselves

A teacher at my high school came out as trans. That's cool and all, I understand informing students if you're in the middle of a physical transition. What the students and parents didn't appreciate was the TMI aspect of it all like updates on, i.e, breast development. Needless to say, many kids were pulled from the class.There is a way to go about it without being narcissistic and creepy.

I agree with her. I really can’t believe anyone’s sexual preference nor their gender identity can ever be changed but you can definitely confuse the hell out of people.

Because I have seen videos of people in their 20s and 30s that were confused when they were kids and because of all the peer pressure at school and from the media from doctors from teachers from every angle they said well maybe they’re right maybe I am transgender but then they got into their 20s or their 30s and realize they were not and now they are transitioning back to their birth sex to their birth gender. I love Blair but she’s wrong about this. Because there are people that were confused and would’ve been fine if it hadn’t been for all the other people around them pushing them to actually decide to be transgendered.

The teacher saying she is "out as bi as a teacher" really annoys me. As a bi woman, nobody at my job knows my orientation purely because it doesn't come up because I'm there to... do a job.
Yeah, I mean when I'm talking to a female coworker, and they're trying to get home, and they tell me that their wife is waiting for them, it doesn't derail my day. It's nobody's business. I don't need to know if you like men or only men or don't like them or anyone else at all.
Only time my sexuality came up at a job was when I was called a lesbian because i wasn't flirting back with a guy at my register n i said maybe you just ain't that attractive maybe i have a boyfriend or maybe I'm tryna do my job take your pick at whichever won't bruise your ego my coworkers were dying laughing until he said I'll slap you i took off my vest n started walking out n said I'ma smoke a stoge n give him 5mins to rethink the fact that he thinks I'm scared of him idk what they told him but i never saw him again.
You are all talking about dignity, but to a political activist dignity is a handicap and they despise the concept.

I have always struggled to understand people like that. I never put my orientation in people's faces as that is just a small part of who I am. I am confident in myself enough to not need validation of my own preferences. If someone finds out my orientation, fantastic. If someone doesn't find out, who cares?
Imagine if straight people were constantly reminding you they were NOT gay or NOT bi due to their own personal lack of self worth outside of it. Sure, I may find a reason to say it to someone under the right circumstances but I mostly just enjoy living my life.
I accidentally outed my mother to my school, where she taught -because in my mind it was like whatever- ,apparently to everyone else it was the most amazing revelation to behold and they constantly asked her about it in the following weeks.
Her being the professional lady she is, just said ‘yes, can we get back to the lesson now? Great!’, she didn’t let it become a topic of conversation and stayed within her bounds as an educator.
Teachers in the UK aren’t even allowed to discuss their political views with students because it’s seen as unprofessional and it isn’t their place to be influencing kids like that. They can mediate discussions between students but ultimately they are an impartial 3rd party (and this is high school level).

i’m a bi teacher and i have no idea why my kindergarteners would need to know about my orientation or dating life. i’m there to teach and look after them, not to share personal anecdotes.

I saw a video where the teacher was all proud of "coming out", and telling her students she was "gay." I think they were 3rd, or 4th graders. I was horrified!

I am so happy I am not a child going to school. I would probably have major panic attacks and be drained. These teachers are so draining and I'm just watching them here, I can't even imagine to be in a room with them for 8hours 5days a week.
I remember as a student I hated this one teacher who always brags(?) about how popular she is and was, how she told us how many man/boy used to chased her, how beautiful she used to be, how she was a very good dancer, how she was (and is) better than us. I was like, stfu and teach us that geography stuff as you should

Our literacy and numeracy rates are dropping like crazy but apparently it's more important to indoctrinate kids with sex, gender and race rather than teaching them the three R's to give them the best chance in life.
Why on earth do these teachers feel the need to reveal their personal lives to kids? I would NEVER tell my students that I'm gay, my personal life is none of their business, and more importantly, it has nothing to do with my job.
We used to teach kids how to think. These days, we teach them what to think. The once humble profession is now full of political narcissists.

So gay student here. I think you are completely right for your stance. personally i have had a lot of issues with my sexuality and one teacher of mine actually opened up to me about it. and we had actually a really nice discussion. But her intention was to help whereas everyone in this video is a special Stacy. I would much rather learn how to do basic division than learning about what the government's idea of gender, race, and sex. Because somehow the fact I can't divide 7 by 3 as a fourteen year old is okay.

It's insane how they try hard to put it out there like it's a life achievement. I had a gay science teacher back in middle school. He never said anything about it, it was strictly just science. He was a wonderful and fun teacher, too. Now, it's all "Look at me! I'm enby! Don't ask about math, History, etc. ask questions about ME!"
That's how it should be done. My dad was a school social worker but even knowing that I never thought of teachers as having personal lives. Running into them at the grocery store was weird lol They were there to teach me whatever subject, who they were attracted to wasn't important to me.

When I was in school, we didn't even know our teachers had first names, or even if they were allowed off school grounds. Mind-blowing when we would see one out in the public like a grocery store. Look, I am old. Things like that never occurred to us. Of course, we were too busy learning how to write in crusive, how to actually do math, and reading comprehension.
This secret crap is dangerous. If an abuser tells a child not to tell their parents, this will be much more likely bc teachers taught kids that it's ok to keep secrets.

I agree blaire. I had a gay teacher and he didn’t “come out” but we knew. He didn’t make it this big issue for his social media. He taught math. You know, cuz it’s his job….
Same. I had a PE teacher that was (well, she still is) a lesbian. My son had her as a PE teacher 24 yrs later. She was always super nice to everyone, and just wanted to make sure that the kids got to run around, burn some energy & have fun in gym class. She was always completely professional & awesomely could recall her past students even decades later. She cared about kids & their well-being, but didn’t try to talk to any of her students about her personal life. None of my teachers- gay or straight- ever talked about their personal lives to their students. They all had a strong degree of professionalism that seems to not exist now.

Oh gosh, that reminds me of something my team did to our coach that I found really invasive and gross. I was on the colorguard team (we perform with the marching band during halftime at football games, we have flags, rifles, and sabres etc) and our coach was gay, it was pretty clear as we’d also noticed his partner at our competitions, and because the stereotype of men in color guard is that they are very flamboyant and almost certainly gay, but he never brought it up so it didn’t seem like something really important, but a few girls on my team went out of their way to find his personal Facebook (he has two, one for professional purposes and one for personal stuff) and stalked his photos to find his boyfriend and then constantly called him out about it asking for details. Why? I don’t know, I had a falling out with some girls the next year and quit,

My third grade teacher was a lesbian and she was an amazing woman. She brought her wife to school events a couple of times and people either knew they were a couple and understood or they didn't. It was never a topic of discussion, not in third grade at least.

I had two lesbain teachers at my high school that lived together as a couple. Everyone knew they were. They came to school together, had lunch together and went home together. And NEVER was this a topic for discussion in class. They were very professional and it was none of the students business. The one I had as an actual teacher taught English and Journalism. And she was a good teacher. This woke stuff is crazy. I'm getting to the point where I think teachers need a mental health check and be at least 30 before they get a classroom of their own because these 20 somethings are way too immature.

Why does the topic of gender, genitalia, sexual orientation, etc need to be discussed in a classroom especially beginning at pre-k. WHY!?! These videos are so disturbing!!! Teachers are there to teach English, math, science, etc. These people have no business in the class room as teachers. I'm 24 and teach and once when teaching 10 year olds who were a bit more curious (or trying to distract from me teaching) asked if I had a boyfriend. They knew I wasn't married, obviously due to the Miss in my name, but I simply told them it was not appropriate to discuss this. We moved on and they never asked again. Although I am straight and do indeed have a boyfriend, my personal life is not up for classroom discussion, it's unprofessional.
Sadly the reason they are hiring these people is because they are so desperate for a living being to be in a classroom they will hire just about anybody. No one wants to be teachers so they have to pick from the bottom of the barrel. All the good teachers have jobs.
Thank God none of my kids had teachers like this. We really need to raise our standards for education.
Never had any issues like this going on when I was in school. Like people's sexual orientation wasn't a thing that was discussed by teachers to their students when I was in school. I'm 34 now. Why do young kids need to know about any of this stuff? It's not necessary.
I have a Native American foster brother who is a very sweet kid who calls every man "sir." He was in a class with a trans teacher who lived as a man well into his 40's so doesn't pass well at all. My brother said "yes sir" on reflex and the teacher berated him and sent him to the office. He's now been sent to the office by this teacher 3 times and he doesn't have trouble with any of his other teachers, he's a very respectful kid who has been through a lot on a very rough reservation, but he's a wonderful kid, does well in school, obedient, etc. The principal stopped even punishing him because he didn't agree with the teacher, but everyone walks on eggshells about it because this teacher threatens lawsuits at the drop of a hat

I know a lot of parents who have reported similar things, but the school just says that the kid wasn't suspended or anything even though he still had the embarrassment of being sent to the office. This teacher also wrote some really creepy sexual poetry, but the school just says it happened outside of school so it doesn't matter even though this teacher is a creative writing teacher. My dad got my brothers put with a different teacher.
@@ashmaybe9634 basically the teacher has tenure (gotten before a nasty divorce, nervous breakdown and then transition). The school has just taken the strategy of not punishing the kids for misgendering, but also not punishing the teacher for sending them to the office over and over again.
Not knowing how old your brother is, but fairy tales with moral lessons, can be used at any age. I am thinking of Hans Christian Andersen's The Emperors New Clothes should your brother need a hero of his own kind (the kid that says the truth). It can be found online.
Fuck that shit reminds me of a a radio show I heard a year or 2 ago. It was some kind of leader of some trans organization that transitioned in his 30 and she was now 50 on air. For context this show takes an hour and talk with the host for 10 minutes and than a bunch of questions and comments from callers to either the host or guest. So 40 some minutes into the show (after the person basically dodging all questions and telling a bunch "can we get the next caller?"). So guy comes on air and asks something alongs the lines of "I'd like to ask HIM a question". The guest went in a full tyrade for a solid 15 minutes about how the caller should know not to call that person "him" and cusses them out and the whole shitshow.
Meanwhile I'm listening, the person sounds like a man on the radio (full on deep chain smoking santa voice) and only mentioned they are a she at the beginning of the program.
Like how should a full grown adult know this person that sounds and talk like a man know this disembodied voice on the radio is, supposedly, a woman? And with kids these types of mistakes become even more common. Fuck, it's not uncommon for a kid to accidentally call a teacher mom or dad what makes these people think they're personal lives is somehow so important to kids? And what makes these people think that they are above kids making a slip of the tongue? How self centered can someone be?
I was molested at a very young age and I know that if I had a teacher talking about their sexuality, gender, genitals or literally anything about sex, I would have felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe around that teacher. It is not their place to do that and I can't believe this is being allowed.
Not to mention it normalizes sex to children, so if something inappropriate happens they are desensitized and likely won't say anything. It's terrifying! I'm sorry that happened to you, I hope you are doing well today❤

I would have felt very uncomfortable and unsafe as well. When I was growing up, I had an understanding that "private parts" weren't something grow ups or other kids should be talking about or showing me.

I'm a preschool teacher and I can tell you that I have never had a kid bring up gender or genitals. Their idea of gender goes as far as a boy likes blue and trucks, and a girl likes pink and dresses. If I let my kids identify however they wanted they would identify as Elsa or Sonic the Hedgehog (which my kids have asked me to call them lol). This is stuff that they don't just think about and the fact that teachers will go out of their way to bring this up is insane to me. And there is no reason for those kids to know anything about your orientation or identity. If you need to be validated by a bunch of 3 year olds in order to have value, you need some help. Let those kids just be 3 and pretend to be whatever they want. It's not that deep.
Kids that age think they are dogs and dinosaurs...like can they really be expected to understand the complex nuance of gender identity? Also sexual orientation is a bit gross to talk about with kids..anything more than "I like boys, I like girls, I like both" is more detail than nessesary for them.

I'm 22 years old math teacher and I'm really shocked that they don't discuss something more important. Because I'm from Eastern Europe and as a European we often think that Americans are dumb and crazy- that's a popular opinion and now i understand that this is because instead of teaching kids basic math, geography and history for example, they teach them political agenda. I'm a student, yeah. You're not too far off. There are a ton of good teachers but they're drowned out by bad teachers. The change for me started around high school where teachers kinda strayed from their topics and started being more inclusive and more about agendas.
Now I'm stuck having to play detective with my baby brother's teachers and school.
I'd rather listen to my 8th grade math teacher talk about taxes instead of another agenda tho.
My son is about to be entering preschooler age and I’ve been debating on whether to send my son to public school or to homeschool him. These TikTok’s made the decision easy for me. Thanks for sharing these.

We need to start a movement of regular LGBT people who don’t want this nonsense. As a bi woman… I don’t want to hear about any person’s sexual orientation. I don’t even mind if a teacher has a same sex partner (I’ve had gay teachers) who casually mention their partners, and I’ve had straight teacher who never mention their spouses. As a preschool teacher I can tell you that that first one, especially, will be a fail with the kids. Four year olds don't like feeling confused about adults. It makes them feel insecure and unsafe. They need their teacher to be confident. A teacher not knowing if they're a boy or a girl or what they want to be called, is going to make them insecure about their own well-being.
Especially since that will greatly confuse children in general. I’m all for gender expression, but kids imitate what they see, and if someone goes around saying they don’t know whether they’re a boy or a girl, kids that young will go around thinking the same things about themselves and saying it back to their parents. It over complicates things.

As a teacher myself - these teachers are so terrible, I've had so many kids come to my classroom confused about the world. These teachers don't even teach numeracy or literacy or the bare minimum, it's about the world being evil or their own identity.
Kids will go to these teachers asking questions and either leave with more questions or get punished for asking the wrong questions
Way back in 2005 I took a professional communication course where we had to talk about our professions. The teachers were scary. They all talked about moulding their opinions and fixing kids and diagnosing kids. Nothing about education or the learning. Or the joy of seeing a kid actually get something.

Especially since now I have had 2 more children, a 4 yr old babygirl and a 2 yr old babygirl. I can't imagine putting my girls into a public school like I did with my son. Thank God I didn't have any of these types of teachers teaching my son to my knowledge. He was in public school from kindergarten to 8th grade and now he is in a military academy that he chose due to these things going on in the classrooms. When I was about 6 or 7 (I'm 13 now) my daycare teacher was gay, but I never really knew what that was. He was really kind, and he never talked about being gay, or how it was to be in the LGBT community (before it cam the monstrosity known as LGBTQIA+). He was very appropriate. He was the absolute best, and his sense of humour was so funny. Sometimes, I couldn't stop laughing! We would talk about girly stuff, and we would play cards. My daughter is now 17, was the victim of a hate crime in her school in December. She opted to leave and get her GED. May as well since covid robbed her of her HS experience anyway. Its like teaching them about stranger danger and not to get into cars with them. I was a preschool teacher for a while and I taught consent in the context of keep your hands to yourself, or if someone doesn’t want to play with you then you can’t make them. Age appropriate consent.

LGBTQ visibility is important especially among young people. In a world where kids and teens tend to fear and hate what they don't understand, positive LGBTQ representation and representation of all kind are important because these young people learn about other people they may not be familiar with. LGBTQ representation helps normalize LGBTQ people.

If we give LGBTQ people much more attention, a lot of young outsiders would find the attention alone enough reason to try transitioning. Teens shouldn't be led to such a lifestyle too early on, for risk of regretting and there would be no way back.

I am a preschool teacher and I cannot believe how inappropriate this is. These people have no boundaries and should not be working with children. We are supposed to be educating these children and teaching them to socialize, not teaching about gender and sexuality. My boss would fire these people immediately.
Same. I have been an ECE teacher for 21 yrs. Both in elementary schools and preschools. There is not one school that I have worked at, that would be ok with this. Whether I'm teaching a 4 yr old, or an 8 yr old, I have to understand their comprehension levels. The human brain is not fully developed until 25. Telling them that one day you want to be called he and the next day she, is extremely confusing to them. A teacher may not feel comfortable or be allowed to explain this to a 4 yr old. Teaching them social-emotional skills, how to deal with their feelings, and encouraging them to talk about their feelings are the stepping stones they need going into puberty. It's not difficult to teach them love, compassion and acceptance. Those are the basics of humanity. Much more than that, they don't fully understand yet. Now...I have had a child in my class who was trans. I discussed everything with the parents and we were all supportive and on the same page. I then had a brief conversation with the children in the class about the situation. You can explain things in a way that is respectful and at their level of understanding.
Also, religion has nothing to do with sexual orientation, gender or whether someone is a good person or not.
This has nothing to do with religion, it would also be highly inappropriate in France as well. Whether it’s private or public school, teachers are there to teach the program, prepare the kids for state exams and that’s it. In public schools teachers represent the State, the secular laws also apply to them. Religion, identity and political preferences stay at home.

When i was in high school i was put in a padded room for special need students who act up a couple times. One time it was to keep me safe from another student who was throwing desks and chairs around the room , but the other time it was not necessary.

DONT LET PEOPLE YOU DONT KNOW AROUND YOUR KIDS 😭 making four year olds have the responsibility for how you feel day to day is not only abusive, but highly disturbing for having a class of 10-15 that has to know exactly everything you as an adult want. How about, they call you your name and that's it, and if you want to teach them manners go to a teaching position for actual adults... making 4 year olds sit down, listen, learn colors, and letters has nothing to do with your wackadoo brain chemistry.
None of these people should be alone with kids. The indoctrinating power they have is terrifying.
And the fact they all apparently want to be teachers and have these positions and are able to fill these young kids up with their ideologies
I went to school over 13 years ago in Scotland, and it was nothing like this. We didn't know anything about our teachers private life, they'd occasionally refer to family but we didn't know their orientation, my God. It's only relevant and necessary to tell people whom you intend to have physical relations with, and maybe tell your family, but even then, you don't need to tell your family if it puts you in an unsafe position. It's actually pretty worrying that they feel the need to tell kids this information, people do things for a reason after all 😖
These poor small children are now no longer a class but a captive group of validators solely there for the teachers ego. So sad. They don't care at all about anyone but themselves.

What really creeps me out are the teachers who crave acceptance from children... From... Children.. they make these TikToks where they're crying "Oh my kids gendered me correctly today... I'm so happy.. I feel so accepted" from kids... Or "My kids gendered me incorrectly today.. so I corrected them, and taught them a lesson" instead of leaning (or not learning) about school things?
If you need that much emotional support from school children.. you shouldn't be teaching. And you need to go to therapy.

I’m 17. I can distinctly remember when I was in preschool and kindergarten. Never once did the thought of genitals, sex, race, or any of this woke nonsense come to my mind. The only time I actually thought of race was when I was being taught about MLK, the march on Washington, and civil rights. Other than that, I never once thought of anything of the sort. So for these teachers to say that “the topic of genitals came up“ or whatever, really means, at least to me, that *they* were the ones that brought it up. Because everybody that was a kid knows that something of that nature never EVER crosses the mind of a child.

When I was in kindergarten the whole “legalize gay marriage” movement was being pushed. When it came up in class in passing (I think some bill got passed and it was everywhere in the news so some kids were talking about it in class)everyone got super hyped up because they thought it meant you could marry your best friend and not some gross girl with cooties.
I think this perfectly exemplifies why you can’t push this shit onto kids, even if you think they understand it they really don’t

Kids have no business knowing about their teachers personal life. Teachers need to teach English math ect and stop forcing their beliefs on other peoples kids.
A teacher once told me that it is forcing people back into the closet to have them not tell their students that they're gay. No, it's not. It's forcing you to not talk about your gayness with children.
Certain parts maybe, as they may pertain or fit with the course curiculum. BUT no one needs to know who gets you moist or excited and no one needs to know what holes you prefer when fooling around. Thats private shit so keep it PRIVATE.

As a teacher, we're supposed to be unbiased in every sense of the word. These teachers are not following that conduct. They are pushing their own ideals on their students and steering them in THEIR ideas rather than helping them develop their own opinions and thoughts. Also their sexuality has no bearing on those students lives. At the end of the day, what matters is that the students are being heard, taught, and cared for. They need to do better than thinking about how they are being perceived.

In high school I had a female teacher who was married to an other women. It came up two times:
Someone asked her if she like eating dinner at a dinner table or on the cough. She replied that her and her wife always ate on the cough while watching netflix.
The other time I don't remember, but she just talked about her wife the same way a male teacher would tall about his wife. Never talked about her sexual orientation. Never tried to teach us anything about lgbtq+ (she was an arts teacher. It wasn't her job). It was just very natural and honestly we didn't think anything of it. It was just normal. I think that is apropriate.

Not true, at least for those of us nonbinary people who are actual rational thinkers (like me).
Problem is, many of us Americans, or human beings in in general (!!!), are irrational. Critical thinking has been flushed down the toilet in America; no matter how much you hear about schools and colleges wanting to improve critical thinking, far too many people continue to react with their emotions.
Facts don't care about your feelings.
