    The old editor was much easier to use and the filters are more realistic. I feel bad that it's been cancelled but I do like the new AI options in the new editor. Thanks for this video. 💯👍🏽

      I definitely agree that the old filters were better. Thankfully, I created a document with the old filters, and I can copy style to new photos if I want. I still hold out hope that they'll add the older filters to the new editor. Wishful thinking.

    The most annoying change for me is the filters because ok if the things I rely the most on for my YT videos is the greyscale filter. Now that it’s gone I’m have to manually do it on the adjust by putting in 22 Brightness, -28 Contrast, and -70 Saturation but doing that every time is such a pain as I need to use greyscale a lot.
    I wish they would still have the option the use the old editor for those of us that enjoy and need those services.

    • @TheCreatorClassroom
      @TheCreatorClassroom  Před 3 měsíci +1

      There are some tips to make that faster. Start off with one manually, But then use the roller looking thing. It's called copy style. And copy from one to another.

    • @TheCreatorClassroom
      @TheCreatorClassroom  Před 3 měsíci

      There is also a new edit photo one called mono listed under filters that had about 6 different greyscale options..

      I wanted to share this with you as I know it's a pain point. Here is a template. In the template, you'll see a bunch of the same photo. The big photo is a photo that is basically the old filter with the new editor. So like the one that says Epic Filter at the top -- the big photo is styled and it looks like the old epic filter. In your project -- open up this link and add a page to it with the filter you want to use. Use the copy Style paint roller to copy the style from the picture in the template to your photo. It at least is a work around. www.canva.com/design/DAGAiBy2fy4/KVBRpQdALFH_TYbgbHbC0A/view?DAGAiBy2fy4&mode=preview

    I did use your link and got the Canva pro and so glad that I did. It has saved me a lot of time and watching your videos. I mean, there's just no nobody else I wanna watch you teach it so well. Mine has been the new editor. I don't have the old editor mines always said edit photo or whatever it says up there and I never really knew how to use it that much but I'm learning more watching your videos. I do love that. You can change the color of the clothing and stuff like that in the image. I do love that as well. I don't know what I'm missing from the old one because I've never used the old one so on with the new 📣

    Hi there! I found you from the Think Media challenge group and I’m overjoyed with all the knowledge you have to offer! I’m growing a new channel (it’s teeny right now) and your guidance will be invaluable for me since I always struggle with tech related things. Thank you so very much! ❤️❤. I’m subscribed and staying for the long haul! 😃🌻

      @@TheCreatorClassroom great question! Since I have ADHD, I struggle with taking in too much info, then organizing the info, and finally making a final decision. I get distracted by all the options. I also don't have a great deal of patience for the trial and error of learning how to make thumbnails, end cards, etc. Although I LOVE learning new skills and building my capacity, my frustration tolerance is low.

      @beautifullifesageg.3951 I definitely understand. I also have a low tolerance for frustration levels rising. I've learned there are times when I feel less frustrated and more capable of learning new skills than other.

      @@TheCreatorClassroom agreed. I believe that once I have a successful go at it, as with anything in life, my confidence will surge and I will continue with more ease. I haven't been successful yet! Lol. Which is why I'm glad I've found your channel bc Canva is utterly overwhelming to me and I think you will be able to help guide me through. Yup. All you have to do is click the picture, edit photo, go to adjust, and then scroll for color edit. I use it all the time. Used it today for this thumbnail on my picture and the background. The background used to be red and my shirt is closer to cyan.

    • @TheCreatorClassroom
      @TheCreatorClassroom  Před 3 měsíci

      The old blur was definitely easier. There is a blur in the new one if you want to give it a try. Edit photo. Scroll under FX and it is with the section with Shadows.

    I used to be able to change the colour multiple times. I used to be able to filter, apply, then come out go back in and I could do the same again. Is there any way we can still do that, because I can only see that I can do it once, and I hate it.

    • @TheCreatorClassroom
      @TheCreatorClassroom  Před 3 měsíci

      Unfortunately that was retired. I don't even have access. I believe the screen effect may have been by photomosh so search for photomosh outside of Canva. They have a website and it's free.

    So what happens if you have designs on Canva using the old editor version ? Will it be deleted after April 25th? Because I have designs that I made using the old editor. Should I go ahead and download them before April 25th ?
