Fits in well with their humanistic and socialist gist - all the contraptions and conceptions arround you, they're not simply commodities for you to use, but were put in existence by someone, thus everyone has his or her deserving place in the fabric of us.
i love how the guy with the beer, who might be the beatmaker, and his sole purpose is to be there to press the space bar, and he dosent pretend to do more than that, like a lot of DJ, humble real and brilliant, no fucks are/ were given^^
To me he’s like the anti dj. Like fuck you, I press a button, I don’t have to look busy. Looking busy is a capitalist ploy to keep us stressed and working ourselves to death. I drink a beer, I dance a little bit, fuck you. Lol but that’s just me
@@JB.zero.zero.1 I think you missed the humour I was attempting with my comment. It was a tongue-in-cheek comment relating to the lyrics of this song. Both of these blokes are fucking brilliant :)
How these guys haven't represented the UK on Eurovision yet is beyond me. Pure nitty gritty. Love these guys. Although if that beer guy puts in any more effort than just pressing 'enter' at the start, I feel his PIP may get sanctioned
This song will always be my acurrate description of experience of appearing in middle of jobs during Covid. And I am not from bloody UK. Luckily, praise Jesus. Thank you Thank you for great beats and thank you for great vocal performance. Just epic stuff: ha
So many parts to this track i love, but when Jason is crying like a baby and Andrew just starts cracking up is just top draw. What a relevant band. 👊 Come on Come on Come on
Is everyone missing the point? This appeals to the many reflective English males 8n this situation. Frustrated disenfranchised, no opportunity. This song makes it alllll right. They understand, make it easier. Like medicine. Chanelled all our lives, even by the most seemingly earnest.
I find that if I listen to/watch a Sleaford Mods tune every once in a while i am blown away by how good it is... But if I watch 10 in a row, I start to go mad 😂😂
First time I heard these guys, maybe six months ago, maybe longer, I don’t know, I thought, WTF? Well, now that I’ve had a chance to listen to them a few more times, really get into the mood of the music, feel the groove, listen to Jason spitting out those angry rhymes, and watch the one dude with the beer, now I can honestly say to myself, WTF? But in a good way.
As a jobseeker and a lover of the mods........genius....play it on repeat every 2 weeks prior too giving false declarations!!! Come on!!!.....Come on!!!!! xx
Classic fuckin classic, I'm so old (54) that I remember punk and being unemployed, and Mr. So and so , What have you done to seek employment today, ... i looked in to your eyes.,, and saw the person, i will never be .
0:40 Lyrics are: 18.4 mate , middle, rub. I think it refers to the act of rubbing clean a thermometer? The numbers are the temperatures at the top and in the middle of an as yet uncooked palette of KFC chicken? Something along those lines, I can't remember where I read this tbh but I am sure it is the lyric. If you are not already a SMarmy, they have been very prolific over the last few years. Each album released they have managed the trick of doing something different and yet remaining the same. They are superb live too. their gigs are among some of the best I have ever been to.
I lived in Liverpool in the eighties, so I remember what it was like. My mam, my brother's Joey, Billy, Jack and Adrian, my sister Aveline, who always wanted to be a model but ended up marrying a vicar. We did what we had to, always on the fiddle, looking for bread, we'd make it and we'd take it home. Kept it in the family.
shoutout to the guy playing the beer
tis a dirty job but someones gotta drink it
I might send em my c.v. ,I play a mean triangle
I know,he's total quality.
Awesome booze player in general...
I am looking for a similar position out there, specializing in Newcastle Brown Ale and Tennents.
Doing all the music programming offline and then dancing and quaffing a beer during the show seems like the perfect musical role to me.
Fits in well with their humanistic and socialist gist - all the contraptions and conceptions arround you, they're not simply commodities for you to use, but were put in existence by someone, thus everyone has his or her deserving place in the fabric of us.
He's a vital role in the dynamic, last show I went too he was dancing in the background.
Dream Job !
We are tying to get our singer to do this when the guitarist is wanking. The best set was when he walked off the stage and downed his beer
i love how the guy with the beer, who might be the beatmaker, and his sole purpose is to be there to press the space bar, and he dosent pretend to do more than that, like a lot of DJ, humble real and brilliant, no fucks are/ were given^^

Been there too, but having to work is shite as well ! We are never free, we can't win.
It's True... more easy.to work for mind .
I want to thank the universe for allowing me to live long enough to see this
Without a doubt this is the best live version.
The Melt! version is pretty good as well

The best modern punk music
I didn't know this track at all, how many Golden Globes did they receive for this masterpiece?! It's soooo good!
Holy shit, that was good. Best played loud.
This song is so relatable. In fact Sleaford Mods are very relatable, that’s why they’re fucking great. We’ve all been there.
Where was this band and not in my life until now ?
Nottingham ;)
Staff Meeting.
its about fuckin time rude boy
suppressed by the absolutely pathetic mass media and radio play lists
It's the Bastard child of Punk. Brilliant.
These blokes are so authentically punk they sound like a long lost parent of the form.
This song drives me to work on my passions rather than focus on my day job that barely pays the bills.
Jason is one of the best performers I've ever seen on stage.
Top middle.
Both equally make it what it is. ur right tho
He sounds a bit like Jello Biafra
the combination of Andrew's steadiness and Jason's singing/preaching/.., in my opinion, is unique
19.2 TOP.

You are both very awesome. Love this track. All about timing.
Brilliant. Great band. Gotta be the best band of the time for that size. Cheers for the upload
