SKIDOO overheated. First start after "rebuild?"

2001 skidoo formula deluxe 600.
This rig overheated at idle. The dried up cylinder orings failed and she sucked up some coolant at boiling temps. Once the coolant ran low the plastic resivoir melted onto the engine. Owner said it was making a nasty clanking sound and he just wanted it gone. After the repair im assuming the clanking he was hearing was normal mechanical noise as the engine ran with no coolant. The waterjacket has some noise insulating ability which wont be presant if theres no coolant. ...🤷‍♂️
On a gamble i took on the task of tearing it down only to find it was in rather nice shape. It recieved top end gaskets, coolant temp sensor, thermostat, rubber intake boots which were cracked, and a new plastic coolant resivoir. Also fabbed up a linkage arm for the reverse chain case. Unfortunately, the teardown video was lost. So i recorded a first start up video (beginning) and a little revving (end) as i tuned it up.(before realising it needed intake boots)
