  • As a paraglider pilot, it is very important to learn good wingovers, not just for acro, but for understanding roll control of your wing. Wingovers are a really good window into someone's skill. You need to have good balance : roll stability, bank stability, weight-shift and brakes, all harmonised perfectly.

Best video on teaching wingovers I've seen. The explanation and the 3 camera angles covered all bases. Thank you.

Try Theo de blic as well. It's really good. This one is fantastic too. Because you get so many views of the glider, pilot and all together

I wish you'd say more numbers. I greatly enjoyed seeing two different wings compared side-by-side on the same maneuver.

Yeah, this would have been real handy - especially if I had it a year earlier. Thanks for that Jocky. lol That outside brake thing seems pretty important. I've got a nice video if you'd like more on how not to do it.

@@jockysanderson5659 Very well indeed now that the thermals are starting. If only the rules in France would cooperate this year.

What if there are thermals around?

Hi Daniel, you can wingover if it is thermic but be more careful and watch out if you slowly roll over. They are normally best done in laminar air of smooth calm conditions.

  • @danielgonzaleztejedor9486

When is the moment to pull inside brake?
