I feel like Adrien goes through the same exact thing marinette does. We just don't talk about it often. The pressure of guarding Paris or the pressure to be perfect, the loss of something or someone. I think that's just the ying-yang thing going on in the show.
Actually, Adrien's problems are TALKED ABOUT MORE often than Marinette's problems since some call her a "Mary sue" or stalker or some sort. People don't actually acknowledge her problems but acknowledge her mistakes.
Mind you, marinette has done what are technically crimes and so that is why her problems are talked about more
@@zennylicious I think I get it----- the writers of this show only focus on marinette's problems, while they forget about adrien's, and only want the audience to sympathize with marinette. But I feel like the Fandom talks about adrien's problems. The fans are doing the writing for the writers. But don't get me wrong. Showing character weaknesses is a important thing while presenting a "relatable" character. But for the sake of doing that, this show is making adrien a jerk. Like, the episode "truth " and "lies " Marinette cries about her break up with luca, while adrien doesn't give a damn! Adrien has gone through a lot--- as in, what i meant to say was that the writers fail to make him emotional realistic because he's just the love-interest-for-the-main-character character, and nobody wants to see the emotional perspective of adrien, according to the writers. People call marinette a mary sue because the true meaning of a mary sue is when a fictional character draws way too much attention to herself. I think that's why the fandom is giving adrien the spotlight; because the show gives marinette most the attention. This just proves that this show is incompetent.
They're not the same amount of pressure
Adrien not being perfect isn't going to destroy his dad's business neither destroying the world. But Mari losing the miraculous can lead to the destruction of the world. They're problems may be similar but aren't the same pressure, Mari is going through more than Adrien, yet aren't recognised
@@3ialhdb well, the pressure of being expected of felt very stressful from my own experience. But I do understand how marinette may feel in this situation.

*I feel like Marinette's problems aren't talked about more often. I'm so sick of the fandom's bias and sexist behavior between Adrien and Marinette. Just because Marinette/Ladybug makes mistakes and is the protagonist of the show, doesn't mean she's a terrible character or that never apologizes for her mistakes. Some people complain or point out about how "clumsy" and what a "stalker" she is, but isn't that what makes the series special? For her character trait to be special? If a character doesn't have a flaw, especially the protagonist, the whole show would be flawless.*
*And Adrien is a "precious, sunshine rich kid" who goes through "crap" from his father, that doesn't mean he's a character that always apologizes for his mistakes. So let me get this straight, Marinette's a bad character because she's a stalker who always goes after Adrien, but Adrien doesn't have a bad side to him even though he's a guy who doesn't understand the word "no" and always goes after Ladybug?.*
