Three. MJ was very developed when he came to the NBA. He had no low post game at that point though. Ant is arguably more polished at the same age as NCAA year three MJ.
When Ant is comapre to MJ, we are not saying Ant is better than MJ mor asking who is better between the two as like LeBron vs MJ. That when what they accomplishment would matter. Instead, we are comparing their will and skills to play the game. Matter of fact this is a very serious comparision. It not just some reaching for straws to make a talking point.
If I see 2 guys running around and killing teams with twenty 3s a night and making a case for the #1 team. I would saw wow that the next Curry and Klay tandem. I wouldn't say that the next LeBron and Kyrie.
People need to start giving Scottie Pippen his credit. Once the bulls got Scottie Pippen they start winning close 55-60 games a year. Both Michael and Scottie made the bulls who they tey are today. I dont chose between them either til this day.
I think Ant's competitive fire, personality, charisma, athleticism, and his alpha energy are comparable to young Mike. He has that IT factor. He's also proving to be a great closer. This Minny team without him probably could make the playoffs, but they would go nowhere without Antman's leadership and take over ability. Ant wants that pressure of a #1 guy, and that is very MJesque to me. Ant is physically stronger at year 4 than MJ was. But 90s MJ was ripped, he had massive triceps and often low posted and physically bullied his defenders to score. Ant is thicker overall though. Key is right, we cannot compare finished product MJ to 22 yr old Ant. We can only compare them at the same stages of their respective careers.

Why compare ant 4th year to jordan 4th year? Compare them both at 22years old. Just cause ant came in the league earlier doesnt mean you compare him at 24 years old to Ant at 22. In 2years Ant could have a MVP or two and a scoring title or two also. DPOY would be tough cause it almost always goes to big men nowadays but its possible also. In fact Ant could be on his way to winning a chip this year and a finals mvp before jordan was able to get there.
Jordan played three years of college and Edwards one so Jordan's 4th year he was older. Technically Edwards is ahead IF you want to compare making it to the second round of the playoffs

I would say he plays stronger than 80s MJ. But 95 and beyond MJ played so strong in the low post. Even Wizards MJ was bullying dudes in the low post like Kenyon, Kobe, Baron Davis, and Stacey Augmon. MJ was built in the 90s. Ant is very physical, too. I would say Ant at 22 is stronger than MJ at 22. But 90s MJ played with a lot of controlled force. Both have a great balance of strength, power, and finesse.
