To the people hating on Poppy, Dolores O'Riordan is missed by many other people too, if you think you can get up on stage and sing an impossible song, then go do it. This is a tribute, show some respect. I bet mariah carey, christina, and aretha can't even imitate the unique vocal stylings of O'Riordan, so if you think you can do better, be my guest. Nikki Cedrone I was very fortunate to see the cranberries live when I was in high school. It was a very special concert for me. Hearing poppy cover Dreams was so special for me. It brought tears to my eyes just reliving the song and memories from my past. 💖💖💖
This is rough to listen to. Can they fill out her voice a bit? Like, add a touch of reverb to it? Maybe do some compression on it? So weak and frail-sounding! Whomever does the audio for these live shows needs to wake up and support their struggling performer in some subtle ways!
I agree. Also it needs to be acknowledged that Poppy needs some help vocally. I love Poppy but her live vocals are a bit sketchy. Totally appreciate she does it live though. I feel like if she could drop the Poppy character singing style and just sing as herself this and others would sound so much better
This is the second-to-last song of a 16-song setlist. Poppy hasn't had enough experience with singing live to sustain her voice and hit high notes at the end of the night. I expect her to develop this skill over time. For now, just roll with it. Her voice sounds much stronger in the earlier parts of the show.
Her full voice has always been stronger than her head voice. When she belts it she's amazing, and the softer parts just need more fine-tuning and technique outside of the studio so they're not shaky, like most top singers. Poppy is a consummate artist, I believe in her!
I love poppy to death but the original is just something you can’t do better. She can’t circle her voice. Which many can’t. I love poppy’s voice but I love that she loves this song as much or she wouldn’t cover it 💕🍀

@Mereiraverse her recent work is basically just a carbon copy of old grunge bands like jack off jill and hole, and she still uses backtracking and lip-syncing while performing live while pretending to play guitar by strumming basic notes while the mic for it is off.
