In the original recording you could definitely tell Saiki was struggling with her breathing. You can tell she was very emotional. Plus she introduced the song. Once she gets to "Fly More" she dials it in though. This song gets me a little in my feelings ever time I hear it.

Yeah I think about this song a lot...it’s a beautiful song that can be applied to so many things. I’m glad you made it back and your own experience gives it more layers. Also you picked it up during the song, yes this song is for the fans. Their lyrics have a lot to do with missing seeing their fans in person as well as words of encouragement during these rough times. Definitely touches the soul

And there it is again, that strange feeling in my chest and the struggle against myself to keep my eyes dry. Even though I've heard the song countless times by now, I keep losing that battle over and over again.
It's true, the song isn't exactly what you're used to hearing from the ladies, and yet it's a masterpiece what they've created. The instrumentation as well as the vocals and lyrics just get under your skin. I can therefore understand very well that the song arouses emotions in you after such a story. Especially since it was thematically created for exactly the same reason, Covid-19 and how it affects us all. By the way, congratulations on winning this battle and thank you for another video about our angels from Band-Maid!

So deep and heartfelt! A masterpiece from these amazing ladies! Misa is so good on that bass in this song! Saiki and Miku are a powerful duo! Kanami being so active, but a bit in the background, allowing the rest of the band to shine, so selfless! Akane so good on those drums, as always! Miku's lyrics are so emotional and amazing!

I teared up hearing this song on Spotify before the live... I teared up hearing it live (ok no, I flat out cried...) I teared up when they released the live MV you reacted to... and I teared up during your reaction... Band-Maid is special and I am just so happy that people(me included) are able to hear their message.

Nice reaction. Saiki talked before they sang this song and was very emotional about the past year and what this song meant to the band. Here is the English translation of what she said.
Saiki: We were supposed to meet you today. For the first time in a year, we thought we could meet you all, those of you who could come to see us, but we can’t meet you in the end. I’m sorry. Even though it’s not my fault.
We have been having days of turmoil for about a year. In the beginning, we were very surprised because we hadn’t experienced it before, and we had no experience of not being able to meet others in person. We were sad, but we found we shouldn’t be sad in this situation. When I saw you masters and princesses on social media, you were more depressed than us, and we thought that’s terrible.
We Band-Maid have been thinking about how to cheer up all of you in the last one year. We truly wanted to meet you at Nippon Budokan, but it’s impossible because of COVID, so let’s wait for the day when we can meet.
And in the last one year… or in the COVID pandemic, we have become more eager to cheer you up, and we Band-Maid realized again it’s important to give our songs to you.
That’s why we wrote this song for Budokan.
We made the album also in the pandemic, so it might have a little similar feel, but this song is planned for Nippon Budokan, and we really want to give it to you masters and princesses now.
Budokan is not our goal but just a stepping stone. We will perform at bigger venues, and we promise we will bring you there and give you even better songs, so let’s keep it up a little more.

Glad you survived COVID. My wife and I both had it and I got it much worse than she did. I understand exactly what you're talking about. We had it last November 2020. In February I almost died of Sepsis. I know what coming back to life feels like and this song, although not my type of music necessarily, really hit me. It's a love song to the fans who are waiting for Band Maid to tour again. I don't know if you've heard it or not but Love Bites also has a song called Glory To The World I believe. It's really something too although a totally different type of music.
The whole Band Maid UNSEEN WORLD album is incredible.

Hey I appreciated your reaction brother! I actually literally just listened and reacted to this song about a week ago and I was playing around with that new paid version of Google Meetings or whatever doing it, well it didn't do what I looking for and so sadly I will have to do it again and just tell the truth that I have heard the song. But the song itself showed me a whole new side of Band Maid and now I get to catch your and other people's reacts to this which is really cool for me man. Yeah streamyard just isn't built for making reactions sadly, although it's excellent at what it's for regarding our livestreaming and recorded videos. So I have just been trying out some new shit.

🐦 On Feb. 14th, 2020 concert *BAND-MAID* announced that they were going to play at *Budokan* on Feb 11th, 2021 playing at *Budokan* is like reaching the top of Mt. Everest but due to Covid the concert was canceled. In the live streaming concert *Saiki* address the fans and said how much *BAND-MAID* missed performing live to their *Masters and Princesses* and was followed up with this song that *BAND-MAID* has made for their fans. 🐦

This one really got to me...it is a masterpiece. Obviously, Saiki's best vocal performance, with Miku backing her. Kanami on both acoustic and PRS, playing some really trick stuff...and MISA just all over the fretboard. Akane is strong and steady. And, it is live...so sad that their Budokan gig had to cancel, but they will play there multiple times, for multiple nights, in the future, as well as touring all the Domes and Arenas from Osaka-Jo to Tokyo Dome.
The flowers will bloom again, at Budokan, and everywhere.
